The ride to and from DIMBY officially finished off my Pilot Power rear. I did get about 4500 miles out of it so I'm pretty happy with the life.
Been looking on ebay and the net in general for a deal on another one.
Turns out this guy (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Michelin-Pilot-Power-180-55-ZR17-rear-used_W0QQitemZ170233487706QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item170233487706&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318) somehow got into my garage, removed my rear wheel, took my tire and listed it on ebay [laugh] [laugh]
Im all for buying used stuff in good shape, but that thing's shot. It looks just like my worn out rear tire with the 3" wide flat spot in the middle and the wear bars winking at me [moto]
Jesus! And here I was going to throw away my track take offs after 2 track days! Who knew I could sell them for $45 dollars.
[laugh] No that's MY tire! I just took it off yesterday in fact... [laugh]
What a crazy little side business.
Go to local shop offer to take their old tires that they have already charged someone disposal for.
List on ebay for just enough money to satisfy an afternoon crack fix.
I guess you could use it on the track even though turn in would suck balls

No!....That's
MY tire and it's still on my bike!
Actually, mine is marginally better..but not by much and mine is a Battlax 014. (4200 or so miles) [cheeky] I guess it's about time to go shopping.
I have one just like it. Who will give me $10 plus $30 for shipping? If you want more flat spot I will do a burn out on ti first for an additional 10 [cheeky]
