A few days ago the summer began in Ireland the sun shone for the first time in what seems like months so I hastlily organized a wee road trip out the Dingle peninsula the round trip is only about 100 mile but the views are stunning and the roads are tight and twisty and dry just what the doc ordered. So here are a few pics of the run hope you enjoy them.(http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j350/Nero-92/IMG_1809.jpg) The next parish is New York that way. Wow! [clap]
Someday,I'd like to see it in person and have a pint or two. [drink]
I'm so jealous. Was just there in May and can't wait to go back.
I've got a trip there penciled in for 2013. Looking forward to [drink]
You guys drive on the wrong side of the road though.
Thanks for sharing! Love the pics and I too hope to visit in the near future.

Driving on the wrong side of the road is one thing, but riding on the wrong side of the road is just scary. I rode when I was in Japan and almost ran head-on into traffic a few times.
Thanks for the photos. They cheer me up as its a dark cold winter here this year.
It's been over twenty years since I've been there. Good people and good beer.
Beautiful shots, beautiful part of the world. Love your bike

Nope. Its YOU blokes who drive on the wrong side of the road [cheeky].
There is no right side of the road really..... matter of fact its all right (cue the sound of a beating heart).
:'( Homeland.....
If anybody is going to visit pm me with time of trip and I'll try and meet up. I know that most people who come to Ireland never get very far from Dublin but the west coast is the most beautiful part and well worth the effort to to get there.
Lovely pics and a lovely motorbike. I used to have one of those.
Thanks for sharing.

+1
I have been there! I did the loop around dingle on a bicycle. Do people still go swimming with the whale in Dingle Bay?
love the tail. where did you get it?
Wow, that's beautiful! My husband started playing hurling this year with some Irish lads and is talking about taking a trip. Looks like it'd be an unbelievable place to ride... if i could get my mind wrapped around being on the wrong side of the road.
The country roads are small it won't matter. They are always on your side in turns. ;)

Best game ever! One of the game’s tactics is to just beat the hell out of a guy to distract the opposing team so that your player can go undefended to score a point! Awesome!
