I am down for ANY proposed ride but bear with me 'cause I am coming from south of the south bay. If the ride is going north I will see you in SF. If it's a peninsula ride then I would like to hook up at some later point; like Alice's. Just clue me as to plans.
Vinnie I know you know the roads pretty well, proposed route?
how about panoramic, 1 to pt reyes (gas) then to Tomales petaluma, chileno valley, then cut over to pt reyes petaluma rd, nicasio then lucas valley. The usual loop, very fun. We can get some lunch at pizza antica after maybe?
is 9 too early for you John?

9:00 is fine. I can't sleepin the night before a ride anyway. Question: What or where is "the grove off Chestnut".Oops. Nevermind
I ordered a tire Wed. and went for a short ride yesterday. I knew I needed a tire but I thought it was good for a couple hundred miles more. Guess not. I was just down cleaning the wheel and when I spin it around there is a patch of cord exposed. Have a good ride guys. I'll catch the next one.
Vinnie sounds good, if 9 is too early we can do 10 or so, doesn't matter, just want to ride, whats the headcount so far? Is the grove a good meeting place or is there a better one?
9 is fine by me. Doesnt look like Reddymon is gonna make it, it may be only the two of us. Im not familiar with the grove on Chestnut though, whats the cross street?

Vinnie, what do you feel like 9 or 10???
9... less traffic. get to pizza antica around 1, good time for lunch.
where is the meet spot?
[moto]
Sounds good man, 9 is good, lets meet at the grove off chestnut street, 2250 chestnut street, we leave at 9:15-9:20??
There's another ride going down and we can meet up with some other guys at Alices at 10:15 if anyone is interested???
I'll be down in Pt Reyes for a while, then up to the Tomales bakery on my normal sunday morning ride if you guys are heading on the route Vinny posted.

Pete, this is seriously a tad bizarre...heard your bike this morning at 8:45 am and was thinking to myself...I wish I could be going on that 9 am ride this am. Decided to stay in and watch Germany vs. Spain with my fellow Germans....
Hope you guys have a great ride! [thumbsup]
I didn't see you guys, but I didn't wait around very long. The roads were just too clear of traffic. [thumbsup]

My internet was out all of Saturday (due to a short power outage sometime during the night) until the guy came to fix it at 11:30 today.
I hope you guys had a good ride.
it was a nice ride, and lunch!

Ah, you should have come along. Those poor germans :) If you had looked out the window, I think the sight of full-leathers-road-ready-pete would have been enough to get you out of bed.
Vin and Paul - thanks for the great ride. It was just what I needed.

Tell me about it! I should have gone on the ride! When I got to Danny Coyle's at 11:30 am, there was standing room only outside the bar! By the time I managed to squish myself into the bar, I felt so claustrophobic that I had to leave at the intermission...hmmm, methinks that I'm going to see who's up for an oyster ride this coming weekend...
I've only been riding for a year but that was the most fun I've had on my bike, clear roads, good weather, good pace. Sweet. [thumbsup]
