Boston Woman Carrying Young Son Walks off Subway Platform 'Bystanders Rescue Both' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99_0tr4NgPg#)
Was she chewing gum at the time?
You're supposed to throw sand over the invisible bridge to see where it is first unless you're Harrison Ford
She's lucky the fall, and the weight of her landing on top of her kid didn't cause serious injury to the kid.
Then again, the kid has her for a mom, so how much worse can life really get?
BC.

Assumptive.
People make mistakes, she clearly thought there was a train there, and was likely in a hurry to collect her child support. ;D

...a kid that has a mom is lucky these days
the kid will buff right out.......
in time for mom to step into busy intersections
at the sight of imaginary green lights

I think the mom was just looking across the open tracks to the next one and just had a brain fart. Pretty mean responses so far assuming she is a deadbeat / bad mom and such. I guess some people on here don't ever have mistakes?
If it was just her, that would be one thing, but having an infant along can add so many other things to a simple day like fatigue, distractions, etc, pretty hard to judge her.
Props to the people who risked their lives to help out. Definitely a risky situation with electrical rails let alone the approaching trains.
