So the answer to the question of who would challenge Lorenzo is being answered by the Turd.
i took that as a rhetorical question in the first place.. ;)

Fixed.
I don't need to go to the crystal ball for this one. It's going to be a boring race.
i'm curious what went down in that twitter conversation they mentioned between ben and wilco zeelenberg. it apparently got heated and i only see the aftermath:

i think somebody from the team said the bike was spinning up at the start of the race and when that subsided, it was pushing everywhere.
however, it was really hard to heard that mid-race interview.

Smoked the clutch off the line. By the time she came back I thought top 5 or nothing. Gravel was on the menu today!
Except for the last lap, another snoozer. I still can't believe I keep hoping that the Turd keeps it up and passes Lorenzo for the championship.
Yeah. The last lap was definitely a good one. Nice to see the lead change hands multiple times like that. Shame Stoner wasn't able to be there, as I would have loved to see three bikes fighting it out.

“The crash today was no other fault than myself, I was trying to get back into a rhythm and catch the group in front of me because I could see they were coming back and I had a good lap times for coming through. I’m really disappointed not just for me but for the team as they’ve done an excellent job this weekend, we’ve showed speed and motivation all weekend which is hard to do after Laguna and Indy. The race was really over for me before turn one because the clutch overheated off the line. It was no one’s fault; we checked the data and my practice starts are identical to my race starts. We checked the clutch and there is nothing wrong with it, it just overheated and took over two laps to cool down enough to give it 100% by which time the race was over. I still tried to get the best out of it I could and just made a small mistake.â€

I say one of the best dry races since Rossi v Lorenzo at Catalunya. Very similar race in a way. I was jumping out of my chair for Pedro. I hope he gets his championship. Pedro beating Lorenzo like that is vital for MotoGP with Stoner retiring.
I guess it's gonna be these two guys going at it alone for the rest of the season. Way to close it out Pedrosa. [clap]
Fantastic ride by Pedrosa. [thumbsup]
Nice last lap fight. Glad Pedrosa got it.

How come Ducati didn't put a replacement rider for Hayden ? Same for Honda? What are the rules?

Nicky should be back for the next race

Is that confirmed, or are they still talking around it?

"The Repsol Honda Team, fresh off Dani Pedrosa’s victory, will line up at the test with the Spaniard, as well as Ten Kate Honda WSBK rider Jonathan Rea from Northern Ireland. Rea has been included in testing in place of the injured Casey Stoner, as it is likely he will replace the Australian at the forthcoming rounds."

a quote from Rossi...
QuoteValentino Rossi (Ducati Team) 7th
"I started well and the early laps weren't bad, although the bike started to lose oil right from the beginning. It went on the footrests and the brake- and shift levers, which bothered me, especially as my feet were slipping everywhere....
pardon me...but isn't Val on the safety committee?...when you know your bike is spitting up oil, shouldn't you NOT be on the racing line potentially putting other riders in harms way?....just a thought...
monday testing..

Last lap made it almost worth it all. The thing is... even though they are both great riders... I just dont like rooting for either of them to win.
Good to see Cal finally podium though.
