Just curious if anyone out there has and what results that you've had.
I dyno'd mine after having some service done. A stock 2005 DucMon S4R is listed at 115.46 hp and 74.5ft/lb torque @ 399lbs.
With only a K&N intake and 8500 miles, mine dyno'd after service last year at ~107 hp and 70ft/lb. Since then I have added a full Arrow Ti system, reflashed the ECU with Redline Performance and shed about 15lbs. I'm very curious as to what it will dyno at now.
Dynoed my '95 M900.
It has mods and still only puts out 86.6 (84.6sae) hp and 68 (66sae) ft/lbs.
But not bad for the ol' girl.
wow, koko64
Those numbers are pretty impressive I think for a bike of that age ....
I don't know what mods you have done.......but I think I would be content.
I have a 98' M900 w/ FCR 41's...DP 2-1 exhaust, Nichols lightweight flywheel, modded air box...etc
Not sure I would really want to know my numbers....!? ???
Might be disappointing....I DON'T KNOW....ITS A COMMUTER....not like I am going to chase down more power out of her......

The mods include FCR 41s, hi comp pistons, porting, airbox mods, dialed cams. It goes well and is a little beastie, but still anemic compared to the S4RS.
Port & Polish
Open Airbox
Full Termi Exhaust
Lightweight Flywheel

S2R1000 with open udder and stock map was pushing 83hp and 64tq.
im hoping my 1100EVO motor with fueling will put out alteast 90rwhp and 70tq.
My first bike a 944 was putting out 85hp and 80tq (or i was told htat) with high comp and 944 kit.

How did the 944 feel compared to the S2R?
Here we go again with the dyno thread. [bang]
Not all dynos are the same or calibrated the same.
They are only good to get a baseline for your bike to see if your engine mods are going in the right direction.
The dynos at the bike meets are usually set high so the Harley guys aren't disappointed that their bikes make so little HP.
So if someone says their "Model X" gets 100HP and someone else says their "Model X" gets 105HP and they are dynoed on different dynos,it doesn't mean SQUAT!
Rant over. >:(
stop getting your panties all scrunched up.
its just a dyno sheet with your rwhp. We are ALL curious how much power gets to the rear wheel from factory rated HP. Unless you know them all without dynoing them somehow.

We're just havin' some fun.
There is a more serious thread, "Thoughts on Dynos", in the tech section. Sounds like you might have something to contribute.

the S2R was more responsive, but thats due to the injection i think more than anything else.
the 944 had worked suspension too so it was like the thing was on rails. 749 forks and fox racing rear. the S2R1k on the other hand. eh. with the suspension upgrade (race tech spring and valves) it was loads better than stock, but the 944 was ontop.
I might try to get a whole cartridge upgrade, or swap to 1098 forks and then get an ohlins valve.
My 2010 696 pulled in 66hp a couple of months ago. The only mods I've done are CF Termi slip-ons w/ecu, and 14t front sprocket.

so that is rear wheel hp, so your losing 20% to the back wheel, I am pretty sure they rated the motors at 78 to 80hp. I have a 09 696. I wounder how squishing the heads and port and polish would do for this motor, not sure if the heads can be shaved down though
I remember when Ducati quoted rear wheel hp, not any more. At the crank now like the other manufacturers. Sounds better.
I'll play!
2000 Ducati Monster 900ie
FIM chip, open airbox with K&N, Forza exhaust and Nichols light fly wheel and stock gearing. Since the dyno, I have added a barnett clutch basket and fibers and have gone -1/+2 on the gearing. Also, did the suspension. Makes me smile. [thumbsup]

Ok just curious... My dads got an 851. What do those put out around the wheel? Best educated guess I don't need a sheet to back it up or anything.

About 90hp or a bit more depending on mods, tune, etc.
And even a link to a dyno sheet to back it up (http://www.bikeboy.org/851workinpro3.html). ;D

Nice before and after.
my stock 796 hit 75.6 on the dyno, i havent dynoed it yet since my mods though.. i need to get on that
@dufukincati
Impressive dyno curve
My 08 MS4R:
Full Arrows system
Open airbox w/ Pipercross filter
Lighter flywheel

Haha, nicer dyno [clap]. I guess I'm doing it wrong if you're pulling out 100+ torque.
It is 103.83 newton meters or 76.6 ftlbs of torque.

Now I guess I have to go do the port and polish on mine too......
Yeah, I'm in Europe so the torque is in Nm......so you're ahead there also..... >:(

Will dyno a 944 Superlight in a couple of weeks. Skimmed heads, Ti valves, porting, dialled cams, Ignitech, Dyna coils, modified airbox, FCR 39s.
My 2005 M1000s dyno'ed at 95 hp and 82 ft/lbs of torque. That is with 1123cc pistons and minor headwork.

That is serious grunt.
Maybe one day DP or Vee Two cams for the win (100hp)?

Maybe, but if I did that I'd probably need slightly larger valves, etc. The bike runs great and is seriously fast. I don't really want to spend more money and time just to chase a number.
Also, I find myself riding my other two bikes a lot more. On a lot of rides bringing the Monster is like bringing a sledge hammer to do the job of a carpenters hammer. The poor Monster doesn't get as much love.
those are some impressive numbers on the torque side, those motors only put out 65ish torque at the wheel. its got to be a beast.
I got the bike back. I happened to have to drive an hour north of the shop, and ended up picking the bike up on the way down. Way to spend 6 hours driving around today. >:( I only drove 250 combined miles to boot. :\
I took the bike out for a short 5 mile ride before i had to pack up and go. I was working but work could wait an hour. :P
First impression is the bike is REALLY perky, but theres a lot of vibration through the head. Me thinks i didnt torque the head tube bearings properly since i put needle bearings in there now. Don't have time to ride it right now but ill take it out on my way to school later this week and see how she fairs.
This is the old DS1000 motor in the 2006 S2R1000

I bet you feel nearly 10 more hp with a light bike like that. The lighter internals would make it perky also.
Glad its on the road.
How much time did they spend on it with the dyno tune? Just a reflash in the end and a few runs, or more extensive tuning?
You got me thinking about that airbox..What did they say about your special airbox set up?
This very day
