Not mine but it pains me to see such good deals when I can't buy it!

33 000 miles? isnt that too much? then how much the same monster same condition with 10k miles and after market pipes should sell for?
That's pretty close to me. Too bad I don't need another hole in my head, I mean bike...
What does a stator cost for that bike? Mine was just replaced under warranty and the dealer said if it wasn't under warranty the stator itself would have cost me almost $700.
ebay ~$150 bucks if you get both the windings and the magneto. i have one just sitting on the table doing nothing.

Too much $ or too much miles? I don't think either. I'm not in the market for a Monster but when I was looking a 2-3 years back, carbies were going for $3 G's and they were almost ten years older than than this one. I haven't ridden any Duc with high mileage but I have been working on vintage Honda's for a long time. So, to me, 33k on the clock doesn't mean much. A bike motor top end re-build isn't too hard when it comes time for it. Maybe someone else can chime in on the high mileage concern. I usually say miles is an indicator of wear, not condition.
Fark I thought you meant 750 F1! That would be a real steal!
Yes, a fuelie! 750ie. Also, I just realized it may also have a steel tank.
It does have a steel tank

Yes, u r right.. I said that bcoz I have a 02 m750 dark, mint condition 10k miles.. Tried to sell it for 4500$ and ppl were saying its too much money for a 10yrs old bike with that mileage.... I was like yeah right u ppl dont know what u talking abt and removed it from cl.. Decided to keep it and enjoy it...
My 98' M900 has 36K....with tons of mods & still runs great.
To get maximum $$$"s when time comes to sell, parting her out might be the best option ???
Surprised Phil hasn't posted up.
If I remember correctly he's well past the 200k mile mark and going strong
33k is a lot for a Monster but not close to the end of it's useful life

Pretty sure he's done a top end. Cases never split.
He maintains his bike though. It wasn't 200K of stab it and steer it.

Well yeah.. Maintenance is everything... It makes me happy to hear things like that....
Cool, very good to know these motors will last awhile. I'm only on my second riding season with my first Monster. I love it enough to make it a keeper and plan to keep it alive a long time. 200k must be a lot of road trips/commuting/touring to get to that level of mileage. Hard to get there in Michigan but I'll double or triple my annual mileage when I move to Cali (year round riding and full time transport).

4500 is too much imo. Knock about $1000 to $1500 off and you'd be in the right range.

after market mirrors, speedymoto frame sliders, full carbon arrow exhaust, ohlins steering damper... I dont think I'll give it away for 3k... Even the dealer offered me 3500$ .. anyways .. She's staying.. my education is based on that bike :)
You never get your money back on mods. I have an 03 620 that I'll never sell because I feel like I'd be giving it away at the price I know I'd probably get for it.

Dealer offered you $3500....was that for a trade in on a new bike?
