Title: Hello from SoCal
Post by: InformalGent on September 20, 2012, 03:04:38 PM
Hello everyone. I've been riding for only a year the 2011 Ducati Monster 796 is my first bike and I've taken a lot of crap from friends who ride Japanese speed bikes. I've enjoyed my Ducati so far it's been a great learning bike and very forgiving but now the warrantee is almost up and I'm looking to start doing the work myself. I've have decent car knowledge but bikes are very new to me. I'm not afraid to take things apart I just need directions to make sure I do it the right way. I'm searching for a factory repair manual so if anyone has a link for me I'd be greatly appreciative. Hope to talk with you all more. Thanks -J

welcome to the board. Best general advice for working on your bike.....take pictures, before you take it apart, and as you take it apart. i can't tell you how many times this has saved my bacon.
