Title: price for a tail chop?

i was just wondering how much would someone or a shop charge for a tail chop job? kit not included.
just chopped mine myself and modified a bracket for the light and the license plate..
curious to know how much i saved.

Not much if u are talking about 09+ models
the new monsters are just a few bolts at least with the higher quality kits
its a 15 min job with no cutting

I don't think much. 15 minutes for measuring and marking. 30 secs with an angle grinder.

Dealer here charges $90/hr in half-hour blocks. They'd probably stretch it to 35 minutes so you'd be looking at $90 for labor (or $45 if you're lucky).

this is how she looks now.. modified the stock license plate bracket to save some money .. and i think i did a pretty good job  8)
