Title: Old fart - Newbie to Monsters
Post by: ronin1 on June 29, 2008, 09:46:18 AM
Hi everyone,

New to Monsters and being reintroduced to Ducatis after a twenty something year hiatus.  Ducatis sure have changed since my bevel drive spring valve GT750 and 250 single!

I am the new guy at Motowheels, and have been watching Sac Monster wrench on our new 696.

Now, if he'll just let me borrow the keys...

Looking forward to participating here and I'm sure you'll all help with accelerating my Monster education.

Glenn

Ok, I took the plunge.  I had this sweet '04 S4R delivered to me yesterday.  It's amazingly clean, polished full Arrow system with Carbon cans, PCIII with custom map, couple of carbon bits...  It's been a while since I rode anything other than a scooter!  More comfortable than my last bike ('02 RC51) looking to go for my first ride tomorrow morning.
Now, to figure out where to ride around Sacramento...

Post up in the MOB, I'm sure there will be some suggestions.   Lake Berryessa is one option.

Question - where can we post "help wanted" ads???  We're looking for Ducati knowledgeable people with a positive "can do" attitude, aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and can multi-task...

Alternatively you could use the mwheels board.

It's there for what ever purpose you folks decide to use it.
