Starting a new thread to keep ya all posted and tempted to visit!!! [thumbsup] [Dolph]
that's exciting [thumbsup]
That route looks a bit kinky, Mr. Jacob. You should fly all your friends out there and rent them bikes so that they can ride with you! ;)

Would 100cc dirt bikes do? :P Looking forward to a ride...so far work feels OK. Makes me more desperate to ride holed up within walls with crazy stuff... [thumbsup]

I have been referred to few other crazier ones...This one would be just 142 miles...Google estimates 3 hrs 42 mins. We may take longer? ;D ;)

Sorry folks...didn't get to ride last weekend...hence no pictures...unpacked to clear up some walking room instead...This Saturday, if does not rain....hang in there....:)
The weather is bad... :'( 51 high and raining next Sat...here's couple...windy road and out of my window:
Reminds me of the weather back home... :'(
Still gorgeous in good old NM ;D
Great ride today [Dolph], just missed company- my fellow Hooligans at NMMR! :'(
Ride report (About 200 miles, 4 hrs): Left Morgantown, WV to New Martinsville, WV on Route 7, returned on Route 20, Country Road 15 aka Wiley Fork Road, Country Road 64 aka Long Drain Road, Route 250, Route 7 and back home. It was windy, up and down, sharp right, sharp left, drop, climb...more technical than one can imagine! One turn towards left had me brake so hard, my rear must have been 1+ ft in air and the front chopping==scared the shite out :-X !!!never seen a 90 degree left that fell like a water fall!!! The roads were mostly perfect except for the country road which was quite an adventure & challenge...paved but nuts! The scenery can only be appreciated in person, breathtaking beautiful in fall colors, streams ran along the roads and the smell of fresh wood was heavenly! Again, I missed company and wished so much that our crew was together! Enjoy the pictures... [thumbsup] [Dolph]

Sure thing! Howz it going in FL? Panigale showing up soon?
Beautiful, isn't it, Joel?!? Thanks for the pics. They really highlight what a great riding environment you've emigrated to. Glad you're enjoying the local scenery!

Yes, it is...want to get out more before the cold spell starts! Thanks for connecting me to US Desmo and Jim. I'm working on becoming a member and do track days. I may get the Aermacchi ready for next year on tracks at Summit Point, TN and GA. Miss riding with our group still...the locals here stare at my bike and suit like I landed from space! It is a college town and as much is stacked in the early 20's head, a suit to that head seems like a clowns uniform and pointless. If I could only walk them through the numerous excursions...:)
I did see one local guy on a touring bike go by like a missile while I was capturing pictures, I could not catch him... :P he was suited too...that's when I encountered the waterfall effect on a turn...Damn he was good! Reminded me of Paul on Crest.... [thumbsup]
Beware the "Georgia Wrecking Crew"! ;)
Inside joke....if you don't get it and want to know, ask.
No Panigale, for a while at least. I may have to settle for an 848. I gotta save my money for other things...
2nd ride update through the Appalachia...Morgantown to Moundsville...through state highways and risky, but spectacular country roads...I took Friday half off before the storm to cover the 150 miles in 4 laborious hours! One stretch (Robert's Ridge Road) just before hitting route 2 on country road towards Moundsville was like dragons tail...left right about 10-15 times downhill...you could see about 10 corners in quick succession..., just no room for errors on the entire trip...was exhausted!

Did you get blasted by the storm? Looks like another one on the way (Noreaster, not associated with a hurricane).
