Nope just helping a brother out.
Unbelievable... [clap] don't think that would happen in North Wales... [bang]
Geoff... [coffee]
" To protect and to serve"
Now that's "serving"! [thumbsup]
Love it. Around here in Pittsburgh we get similar help on occasion. Especially from cops on Harleys. They're a little more abrupt however... giving you a hearty finger pointing and a loud "YOU!"... Made me feel like I was getting a ticket for something for sure... but he just guided me around some pretty seriously awful traffic.
Nice to see this stuff [Dolph]
I've told motos at lights they can't trip, to go ahead and go when safe via my PA. They look at me funny like they don't believe me but eventually go.
wow thats a first, I usually have bad experiences with the nyc cops (one of which included being arrested on the charge of taking up two seats on an empty subway train at 3am [bang])
this was just plain nice though haha he went outta his way to help ya.. pretty cool [thumbsup]
What the world needs now.........
Is more cops like that! [leo] [thumbsup]

I can't say all my interactions with members of the NYPD were always good, but most have been.

Good work, NYPD. Talk about serving the people. Maybe my Seattle cop can learn a thing or 2 from this.
Damn straight! Way to go NYPD!! [thumbsup] [Dolph] [clap]
Very well done! [clap]
As i got pulled over the other day in my cts-v wagon, and really deserved a ticket, and didn't get one. I realized not all the cops are the a-holes that we assume they are. what a cool guy. here i am waiting for him to scream at this biker or something instead, awesome result! [leo] very, very cool.
Double Nice....notice that this all happened in front of a (large) police station....the rider was taking a chance passing/splitting around the stopped cages on that block (before the cop called him onto the sidewalk) -- and he got away with it ;D
amazing.
That was cool. I got pulled over a few months ago in my Camaro because my music was too loud. Apparently it's a crime to listen to Katy Perry. [cheeky]

The thing is, here in CA that is normal and accepted. Cars will usually move over to give you more room in fact. This his how it should be everywhere.
wouldnt work in NYC. not enough space. A car gets about 2 feet on each side. add in the mirrors and everyone driving wider than normal cars and they have no where to go.
its not like they had flat lands to build on, tis a freaking island!
[thumbsup] Thank you officer!
