Here we go, my favorite time of year. Some 'one and done' games tonight. Cards move on and the Braves fans showed their ass. I'm an Orioles fan, but am looking forward to watching the 6'5" Yu Darvish pitch. [popcorn]
This kid can pitch. :o
The wifely unit and I are watching the Rangers/Orioles game as I type. Good heads up evenly played game. I like it when they are close and well played. Sure, I'd like the Rangers to win but they kinda fumbled the ball at the goal line late this season. Hell, they held 1st place since April 9! [bang] Oh well, winner takes all. [popcorn]
No one that's sane gives a make the beast with two backs about baseball. It's a like an addiction to boredom.
Birds take the Wildcard game. [clap]
Yanks win game 1
Tigers win again
Nat's win game 1
Red's win again
Let's go Nats. (pulling for a beltway series)
In lieu of hockey, I have no choice...
Go Yankees!!!!
Bird's [clap]
Giants are alive for another game. [clap]
What a catch by Coco [clap]
The A's live for another day. Great game. [clap]
I do not know how the Yankees are still playing with a regular season worst in MLB RISP, but their they are again. Yank it to'em, 27 working on 28.
Giants crush the Reds
Yanks win in extra innings [bang]
Cards win
A's win, with 2out in the 9th, [clap] I love this game.
Go A's. [clap]
Tough road against Verlander tonight though.

Great ending but way past my bedtime. I just hope the Nats can win today.
Love this game as well but HATE having to hear John Sterling calls.

Go Yankees!!!!
You know how much time, effort and heart ache can be saved if they just hand the Yankees the world series..........
;)
Way to go Giants, 3 straight to go to the NLCS., [clap]
Werth homers in the bottom of the ninth to force a game 5. Go Nats [clap]
O's/Yanks, good stuff, that pick off at first could've gone either way, my favorite play in the game. [popcorn]
O's win in 13. [clap]
Verlander was just too much for the A's, but even down 6-0 in the ninth the fans were cheering hard. Even after the loss the fans were on their feet cheering ' Let's go A's'. Now lets go to NY, after the O's forced a game 5 you could hear a cricket in the stadium. This is yet another reason to hate the Yankees (not the players, but the fans). make the beast with two backs you NY, I hope the Birds put you away in this round. [popcorn]
NAT's and O's still alive. gonna be a great day for baseball
A-Rod's been benched. Ibanez, DH. [popcorn]
Yankees move to the ALCS. :(

Come on! We're talking Jeter. There's no way they could function with a loss like that, especially when the rest of the team has forgotten how to hit.
What a make the beast with two backsing play by Scudero. [bow_down]
The Panda. [clap]
Zito and the Giants shut the Red Birds out. [clap]
Could someone please tell ESPN that the Tigers WON THE ALCS?

They said it once. And only once.
Now they won't stop talking about A-Rod and the rest of the Yankees that couldn't hit, couldn't pitch, couldn't catch, get paid too much, flirt too much and may or may not be around next season.

No. Tigers winning is news, the rest is for TMZ to report.
At least until off-season.
Vogelsong has 9 K's through the sixth of game 6. [bow_down]
Giants dominate and take it to game 7, it don't get no better than this. [clap]
Giants are blowing game 7 wide open. [popcorn]

Giants are still on fire. Down 2-0 in NLDS won 3 in a row, down 3-1 in in NLCS and won 3 in a row to go to the Series. Amazing baseball.

Sandoval is hot.
Man. Tigers looked flat. That's all they will talk about is the lay off and how it looks like '06. Sure hope they fix the bats for game 2.
Giants take game 1. [clap]
Zito!! [thumbsup]
I'm an A's fan, so have always liked Zito back from his days in Oakland with the Big 3. It has sucked to watch him struggle in SF. Nice to see him pitch well in the big games lately! [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
How did that line drive not knock Fister out. :o

No kidding.
Did you see how far the ball went into the outfield!
And he just shook it off. [bow_down] [bow_down]
Giants take game 3 with some great pitching. [clap] Oh and in Detroit.
It's looking like the layoff after the sweep did Detroit no favors.

I had to listen to that on AM radio last night driving down off Crater lake in the snow, all scratchy and AM radio like and stuff.
What I noticed is that the crowd wasn't going wild after the bottom of the 9th. ;D
So it looks like S.F. need one more win, or to put it another way, Detroit has to win 4 in a row.
I'm watching it tonight..
And I hope I'm watching a big parade down on Market street on Monday!

Jeanette MacDonald sings 'San Francisco' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvK_gD3ulaw&feature=fvwp#)
What a play by Crawford to end the inning. [bow_down]
Giants sweep the series. [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] The last pitch by Romo, fooled the Triple Crown winner and left him watching. [bow_down]
Yes yes yes!
'Panda' wins the MVP and picks up a sweet ride from GM [evil]
What a lame effort by Detroit. Just couldn't seem to get anything going.
Congrats Giants
Great last game.
Man...Scutaro is clutch. I've been watching him since he was with the A's, and it seems like he always delivers the big hit. He came up in the 10th with the lead run on 2nd, and I told my wife he'd get a hit for sure. [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
The big Parade is on Wednesday.
The parade has made it down to Civic center. There is a sea of people down there.
