Title: Hello from DFW
Post by: nickshelby500kr on October 19, 2012, 08:54:00 AM
Just wanted to say hello. My name is nick. Just purchased me a 2012 M1100EVO.

Its a project bike as some guy wrecked it within the first 2 months of owning it and i got it for pretty damn cheap.

My other bike is a 2003 749S which doesnt see street use much anymore as I finally purchased some race fairings. I had ridden an 1100evo before i bought my 749 but decided against it because i wanted something cheaper that i could track. But now an opporunity came up to buy one that i could pass up.

So needless to say yall will be seeing its gradual ressurection over the next month or two.

mostly just the clutch lever, the subframe, tail light, taillight/ license plate holder, and gauge were the big ticket items. But i have now bought the subframe and connector plate, taillight/ license plate holder, and clutch lever, so it should be back to at least ridable within the next week. I will post a thread of the minor rebuild.
