I have been saying that Ducati needs to make a single for years.

I don't know if it is financially feasible for them, certainly not in the USA.  And their price probably would be too high to be successful in Asian markets where 400cc bikes are popular.

I know I would buy one in a minute -- 50hp more or less about 300lbs out of the box.

But the effort for them would probably be too much -- new frame,  crankcase design, crank.  I think they could use off the shelf forks and brakes (smaller than the monster type) and reuse the piston/cylinder/head from one of the other bikes...

dreamin...

I think this bike with other exhaust & belly pan would be the ticket!!!    [thumbsup]

Tiz search ktm track duke... 79 hp 140kg single.

Are you thinking fairings like the supermono? Or more like a Desmo Duke?

I'm still waiting on the 125 to be sent state side.  I'd have my deposit down yesterday.

Being acquired by Audi, I sure hope they can expand their fleet and models.
Then again, Ferrari never made a minivan.......

Never Considered the Cayenne a mini-van. I always thought it was a mid-SUV.  :)

i have a buddy who owns a body shop down in north carolina - used to ride pro motox, race street bikes, etc.  now he pretty much rides ktms in the woods - every new bike he gets is completely ripped down and the frame painted orange before he even kicks it over...it always looks sick

from what I understand, that rc8 isn't quite up to par with the s1000rr or the 1198/99, though it certainly looks the part

That's pretty sweet...you are right about the RC8 butttt it's cheaper than both of those bikes. I keep thinking about getting a moto bike for running underneath the powerlines around here......

personally due to the need of family
I WANT a beast of a minivan. Give me a BMW/Audi/Porsche minivan with 7 seats, great handling and 300+ hp and doesn't look like it's sitting on a truck chassis. A low mean, fast, stylish family mover that any dad would be proud to drive.

Edit: This is my concept
