It was rebuilt and finished top 5 overall in the Petit LeMans though.

that same porsche also sent the race-leading (and eventual championship-winning) p1 car back to the pits on a flatbed during the race.

Nice post Derby. I was curious how the delta turned so well and that answered the question. Cool concept.
They are shutting the naysayers up!! [evil]
I still don't get it, how does the front not oversteer with no weight, was it all aero's and downforce?

the way I understand it...yes...kind like what they said about motorbikes in a way..."steer with the rear", meaning you turn with the gas in a way....really neat and cool to see more done with less!
I had to close my eyes when he got to turn 2... broke my pelvis in three places there last June. Which reminds me, anyone want to buy a slightly used 848?
Not me....
Cool vid -- the driver's head was inches from the pavement during the start of the slide; and then he got a face full of turf and dirt [cheeky]
Cool video! [thumbsup]
wow, the Delta Wing was moving like a mad man before the Porsche crashed it out. THat thing really does defy the conventional wisdom. [thumbsup]

Little over a year into the car, so I would say its turning the race car world upside down.
