Title: Rego lables NSW
Post by: FIFO on December 24, 2012, 03:17:04 AM

For the Benefit of MMIck and Bwian [roll]

Copied from the RTA
No rego lable is required to be displayed on light vehicles from 1/1/2013

The change means registration stickers will no longer need to be displayed on light vehicles including motorcycles and trailers up to 4.5 tonnes from 1 January 2013," the spokesperson said. [thumbsup]

WA did away with rego labels ages ago.

My rego label fell off 2 months ago.  I've since had a  [leo] stop me and he didn't even bother looking for a rego label (too busy writing me a ticket  [bang])

I CGAF my misinformed 76yo father (the same bloke who tries to carve me up when we go for a ride) was adamant that his (reliable) info was correct.

Does this mean we can't gather and ride together anymore?

hope your well and had a good Christmas
As for the motorcycle gang laws I was under the impression it was only aimed at OMG's
OUTLAW motorcycle gangs which would leave out The old farts , Christian brethren or brotherhood whatever they are called and us DMF who are covered by the previous two
being Old and God fairing  [laugh] Well Teff is the Norse God of foul play weather  ;D

I think that has been the concern with a lot of Legal people as well as many groups of people (Car Clubs, motorcyclists, footy clubs) that the legislation (From all States) is potentially way too open ended which could potentially allow the Authorities to screw over any group they see fit!  [roll] :o
