I received a pair of Volar m40 bar end mirrors today for my 796. It took a while to remove the rabbit ear stock mirrors ( didn't know that the right side mirror was screwed in backwards) but installing the new ones was dearly easy, only took 2-5 minutes (lost a screw on the floor opening the package). Anyways for $20 they look and function great, surprisingly the have less vibration then the stock mirrors and looking down to them is not as hard as I expected it to be. Here are some pictures, excuse the b&w, have it set as default on my iPhone camera.
One thing I noticed, the paint on one of them is not well done but it doesn't show too much and for that price can't really complain.
