So my project is coming along quite well due to all the help i've received from the forum. I got the Ducabike rearsets on with the new pressure banjo as suggested and it works great! Everything's put back together except for the exhaust tips which are enroute so I can take it to go get painted...
One last question though, I bought a rear cowl... which I didn't read carefully and it's cracked... but it seems to be an EXTREMELY tight fit. To get the bolts to line up I have to squish my seat padding down to squeeze it over far enough. This puts a lot of stress on the crack so I'm concerned it will be hard to repair for the body shop.
Does anyone with a cowl have this tight of a fit on their seat?

Sorry one other question, all of the silver labels you can see in the pics... are they illegal to remove?
It varies state to state since the GVCW is posted on there. the vin is physically stamped onto the frame if you are wondering.
and yes mine is that tight. when i take it off, it leaves an impression for a few hours.
yank those reflectors off your front forks while you're at it [thumbsup]
I was looking at the reflectors but couldn't tell how they were attached. Don't necessarily want screw holes left showing in the fork, are they just double sided tape?
