I need to rekey my door locks on my old Willys Wagon, as I don't have a key to the doors.
I'd like to key the doors to use the same key as the ignition.
I took apart one of the door handles and removed the lock cylinder. I was surprised to find that the cylinder uses plates for tumblers instead of pins.
I haven't been able to find anywhere online that sells tumbler plates, only pin kits.
Does anyone know where I might find these plates I'm in search of?
Am I going to have to take my lock cylinders to a locksmith?
I'd prefer to do it myself, since I understand how it works. It's one of those things where since I know how to do it, I have a hard time paying someone else to do it for me... even if it's a nominal fee.
Thanks in advance...

The wafer type locks are still used, but mostly on cabinets.
