Title: Greetings from Boston, Ma
Post by: rromano22 on March 02, 2013, 02:01:00 PM
Hello all,
Not only am i new to this forum, but new to the motorcycle world in general. I just purchased my first motorcycle, and of course it has to be a ducati! It's a 2013 monster 1100 evo. Any advice to a newbie like myself would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Rob

Welcome.

From a fellow New Englander, watch out for sand in the spring.

Check out the NEMHA section. It's pretty quiet in the winter, but gets a bit more lively when everyone comes out of hibernation.

Welcome Rob,
Excellent choice of a first bike! As DP said watch out for the sand on the roads if you venture out before the first big rain washes most of it away. Take the MSF course, it really teaches you a lot. I took it last year in Boston.
