Today's menu consisted of home made blueberry pancakes submerged in actual maple syrup for breakfast.
Dinner was stir fry, so that doesn't count.
After dinner I decided it was time we had cake around so I made this cinnamon swirl thing in an 8x8 pan.
I just finished 2/3 of that in one sitting. Well, standing actually since I hovered over it at the stove and got to work :D
Tomorrow morning I will weigh the same as I did this morning.
And I'll eat the remaining 1/3rd for breakfast :D
make the beast with two backs yeah!
I can't wait until you hit 50. ;D

That may be the case. Hard to say.
In the meantime, cake is a food group :D

only hard to say if you haven't gotten there yet...
and cake is definitely a food group...
as is french fries. ;D
Potato-ey goodness comes in many forms.
It is, indeed, a food group.
this thread is evil.
RIP cake
I didn't know you for long, but I will always remember
:D
When I get home I'm making pumpkin pie.. I usually eat about 90% of it.. the wife makes cookies about every 2 weeks..
you had to say pie didn't you.
off to the supermarket to get pie crust and apples.
Apple pie is awesome
Shoofly pie anyone?

this reminds me of the Bill Cosby routine from like 1982 where he feeds cake to the kids before Camille came home to find them dancing and singing dad's praises....
We had a cupcake bakery open up about 1/2 mile from our house. They sell convenient 1/2/4/6/12/24 packs of daily changing cupcakes. Each day they have like 12 different options available...
And of course, the cupcake is the perfect size for Robin to have "cake" so we now get cupcakes every 2 days. [drool]
Side note...mods, can we get a diabetic coma smiley added?

We could...
except it would be inaccurate. Diabetic coma is the result of low blood sugar not high.
Just stop eating the cupcakes. :-*

Good?
Good.

that would also apply for post DIMBY effects as well as supremely drunk/passed out...

apple butter and Nutella on a croissant.....'nuff said!
As someone who is trying to cut down on her sugar intake (and failing miserably), I probably should not have clicked on this thread.

I just finished the cheesecake. I had the last piece with Ice cream. [drool] still got lotsa Ice cream left. It goes good with crumbles of Peanut brittle on top.

Why, thank you!
It's just one. I'm in control. I can stop whenever I want!
I mean, I had a Snickers bar for breakfast, but those have peanuts and peanuts are a good source of protein so that means I had a
healthy breakfast.
Made ribs soaked in bacon grease my Spanish seasonings, BBQ (forget the name) and glazed in brown sugar..
Sorry, no pic.. ate them too fast and wasn't thinking about picture taking...

Exactly.
I've eaten a lot of cake at one time (like whole cakes) and not died or gotten sick.
If I survived that, logic dictates it only made me stronger :D

Know what else is badass?
Kraft Mac n cheese
I love that stuff. I like to make two boxes, I cut the amount of butter and milk in half and I get a noodle/cheese paste.
I eat both boxes.
Its make the beast with two backsin awesome :D

My doctored Kraft mac-n-chee is pretty popular in this household, but it's the opposite of your minimalist approach. Extra butter, half & half or heavy cream, plus a handful of shredded cheddar or blend.

it would sound better with bacon added to it...or made into a variation of Carlos's Mac'N'Cheese Bacon pie....

My wife's lobster and bacon mac and cheese is pretty much my favorite form of crack.
Kraft is a close second but the wife's mac and cheese is in a whole other realm of stupid good.
My girlfriend is a pastry chef, I was doomed from the start....
