"drop buy" like to buy something?
Where are you?
Duc Seattle is way north of 99% of the posters here.
However, Jacob is as cheap as they come if your looking for some good wrenching.
I live in sammamish, it's near issaquah
Fluid, pads, rotors or caliper rebuild?
I updated the situation on the liked thread :-\
I don't know how far you have gotten yet
first thing I would do is take everything brake related off the bike
dissasemble everything in the brake system
clean the shit out of it
look into a rebuild kit to get the seals gaskets and washers
it could be a combination of dirt, bad seals, air in the line, and water in the fluid
once it is all cleaned and flushed
use a syringe to refill the components with new fluid from an unopened bottle
this will help the flushing process
once the system is reassemble open bleeder with a hose on it
and slowly and lightly pull lever with cap off while pouring fluid as needed into resevior
this will flush out all the air and is a great one man brake bleeder trick
follow up that process using a vaccuum bleeder and you should be good to go
grab some brake and hold it
if it slowly leaks down look for the place the fluid is coming out
if no fluid externally then it is a bad internal seal and the M/C needs rebuilt
that is a simple process
Trust Mother... he is very smart in all things not related to taints. Oh and m/c = master cyllinder.

I can't tell from your picture but if you have clip-ons and they are angled downward the handset usually holds a pocket of air that won't pass down the brake line with any amount of squeezing controls.
And be careful with that fluid squirting and dripping. It will remove paint. Good luck!
