Ooops Sorry, looks like I pressed go a little prematurely. Anyhow just introducing myself
Sydney girl just starting out riding a monster 620.
Nothing much to add for now but I'm sure there 's plenty to come ðŸ˜
Welcome [thumbsup]
BTW: saw your other post with the comment about nerves. I think that's normal. Keep practising - it'll change [Dolph]
Thanks Stopintime 😊 haha the irony in ur name in regards to my post.
I'm trying to get out each day hopefully the nerves will go in time.
I'd prefer sooner rather than later 😜

Most understandable, but don't push it. This is one of those situations when 'easy does it' and 'less is more' [thumbsup]
Make each ride a little easier and shorter than your ambition - it will leave you with the urge to go out again soon and a feeling of mastering - it will also add fun AND you will avoid stress & danger. (in other words: stop in time)
Cheers mate.. Really appreciate your words 😊
Good advice.
Riding a moto is a complex task that requires a lot of our brain and body. Tasks like that see a rapid decline in our proficiency as we approach and go past the 'Ive over done it' point.
"Make each ride a little easier and shorter than your ambition " is a great way of putting it.
Perhaps read a book or two - I like Lee Parks Total Control. Perhaps a class. But most of all,
Enjoy
Thanks, will try to do some reading. Will definitely be taking it nice and slow. Wanna be safe for sure 😃
if you haven't done so already, look into a rider safety course. great way to improve skills and confidence.
best of luck!
