Enjoy.
Too funny i just got done reading 27 pages of that.
great documentary
I kinda feel bad for the guy, he's putting some money and effort into it. I didn't think it would take the weight of the roofing [laugh]
That's funny. I'd be scared to get on the roof.

I thought the same thing. Lumber isn't cheap these days.
I wouldn't park my car near that thing on a breezy day.
Great read. This is why i love the internet.
I have no doubt that it will be reasonably ok vertically, but not horizontally. He's got mending plates holding the studs in place. That's not how its done...
Ahaha....that's my local forum and the threadstarter is a friend of mine. I've seen the shed in person and pictures just don't even do justice to how truly farked it is! It's unreal.
[laugh]
I bet IZ moves before it blows over.
I liked how the 2x4's for the roof were laying the wrong way.
That's hysterical... Reminds me of some of the hooches we had to build on the COP's in Afghanistan... Luckily, they weren't as bad as this shed... [laugh]
is it bad that it's not tied down to the ground? ???

Its bad that it sits right on the dirt so that the water and the microbes that live in the dirt can decompose the floor structure.
On the other hand Im aware of several houses in this area that were built with redwood beams lying in the dirt as a foundation. They seem to be good for about 80 years or so.
But 2x4 fir isnt going to last anywhere near that long, and the OSB floor...that wont last its third year.
it's not going to stay together long enough for rot to be a problem
Thread has reached epic proportions of the internet...
Yep....closing in on 1.3 million views!
I think it may have climaxed, though...
It's gone from the greatest thread ever to pages and pages of "oh this is the greatest thread ever, I joined from blah blah so I can be famous by association, here's a shitty Photoshop, blah blah blah...
Yep. Should start slowing down any time now.
Unless they make some progress updates.
It'll be a while before it collapses..
The thread, or the shed?
Epic [thumbsup]
Loved it.
[laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [clap]
But also...

If it is still standing, you may collect your prize.
