As someone that plans to fly a wingsuit I will safely say I will never fly on like that..............  He had about the same chances of making through there as a mosquito has of making up my arse....

That was commitment on a level few can comprehend.  Skilled? Yes.  Stupid as hell?  YOU BET!

I'll tie a rope to the back of my car and fly you around.

kinda like Tanner Foust flying the Eagle Talon in the mexican riviera vacation episode of the American version of Top Gear?

It takes approximately 400 jumps for a reputable jump center to give you a shot at a wingsuit.  They will let me do it in 200 jumps due to previous experience.  Sadly that is the block for me.  I quit skydiving after six jumps as I realized it bored me to tears....  Just not enough decision making to be fun.  Jump, fall, pull handle, if it fails pull two more.  Bah, it is dull.

The advantage I see to wingsuits is the ability to move away from a cliff or building before opening a chute during a BASE jump.  Have a few friends that went out of this world due to an asymmetric opening right next to a cliff face.

Damned impressive. But something tells me there's not a high likelihood of an open casket funeral in that fella's future.

Yup that fella is not likely to die of old age.  I do however know the what last thing that is going to go through his head is when he misses.   His feet....... [beer]

the GoPro would survive though
I've already had my wife agree to the condition that, if I die and I capture it on the camera, the video is to be shown on a loop at my funeral no matter who it freaks out.
