Title: Isle of Man TT trip advice
Post by: MAXdB on April 17, 2013, 07:03:11 PM
Hey everyone! I'll be in europe during the time the isle of man TT will be occurring and I was curious if anyone had some advice on how to go about getting the best experience.  Do I buy granstand tickets? just a hotel,? camping gear? ... I dont know where to start.  Preferably, I'm hoping to enjoy the racing action in a somewhat frugal manner.  Thanks!  [beer]

forgot to mention ... you're going to need ferry passage from liverpool or ireland.  both
of those tend to sell out months in advance as well.  there is a small airfield on the
island ... never checked on air fares or schedules.

OK I'm not going myself BUT I can give alittle help.

Second...if you're in europe you could fly into Manchester airport and then get a direct flight to the Isle of Man.

I have a very good friend who marshals on the corse and with abit of persuasion he might be able to look after you but I can't promise ( two years ago a guy from Florida flew in and had the time of his life with my friend).

The best thing to do is PM me and I'll see what can be done.

Geoff... [coffee]

Hope thats OK...kopf and ung... [roll].... ;) ;)..
