i'm calling BS.

hitting someone while going 130 mph even if they are going 85 is hitting a wall at 45mph. he would have gone through the back window of that truck.

Maybe the mph is exaggerated like that cop plane that timed the (I think) rc51 at over 200 mph?

I agree though, guy should be dead if he was going that fast.

Who knows.

I would think the biker was hard on his brakes and may have hit just hard enough to toss him over the tailgate.  10 mph difference could have done that and not made a huge impact on the truck.  Either way, luck was on his side.

I'm renaming the story.  Randall hitches a ride.

Happened here as well. Sounds like similar circumstances.

It said he was travelling at 130mph (at some point), not that he impacted the truck doing 130.  What I don't get is how in the hell did the truck driver not notice or feel SOMETHING?  The friggin guy even said he thought "a large piece of debris" hit his truck...that's not enough for someone to stop and take a look around?  LOL

I believe that the 130 figure was an estimate from some German tourists who "know about hi speed because they drive the autobahn"!

hehe I resemble that remark. That's why I call BS. 130mph and then up on the tail of a truck.
if he was HARD on the brakes and coming up on that truck I could imagine his heart attack.
I've done 135 in the car, only ~120 on the bike. coming up on someone doing 60 at those closing speeds is crazy.

I submitted it to Mythbusters. We shall see.
