Crazy Guy hits motorcyclist Road Rage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBtE-SwEnM4#)
- Can't figure out what the guy on the Monster did. Nothing apparent in the clip - even the lady in the mini van was stumped
>:(
he was sitting right next to him at the light [bang]
noticed the car had floored it and looked like he wanted to beat the bike off the line? maybe to change lanes?
what he's more important?
shit. i would have gotten off the bike and head butted him back ... WITH my helmet ON [bang]
asshat
I'm with Raux. Between the helmet, thick leather, and carbon/steel knuckles, the driver was picking a fight that he wasn't likely to win, regardless of how big the biker was or wasn't.
I admire the rider's restraint.

Yeah, from the noise it seems like the car was tyring to race him or just beat him off the line for some reason. Not like it was heavy traffic that calls on the agressive merge beasts

Haha no doubt. I would have beat the ballz off of that jackazz.
Assholes need no excuses or reasons....they make them up as they go along
assholes like that usually persist until they run into the wrong guy
I have had the distinct pleasure of being the wrong guy for a few of them
unless there is previous history with that particular driver, i most likely would have gone around him when i saw the car go into park.
then promptly pulled off so he couldn't run me over.
sounds like this is another case of putting this in the hands of the justice system since he has the video and tags and facial ID of the asshat just like a while back with the redneck in the truck with the ATV in the back that tried to ram/runoff/kill the motorcyclist on the backroad....
Man I have a lot of restraint but not sure if I would of had that much.
YouTube update says he turned the video in to the police. I hope
That strutting little f-tard does jail time. Maybe his mommy won't
Let him borrow the car next time.
Seeing that video makes me think it is time to buy a helmet cam......... With the camera the only good choice is to not jump off the bike and pound the guy (my first choice) into a bloody pulp. Since the driver was in retreat and likely only smacked the side of the riders helmet getting arrested for pursuing him would be a poor choice.
With the way our justice system works the rider might end up with a ticket for speed contest or speeding [bang]
Oh and I guess I have to be the first to point out; that ain't a monster he is riding. [cheeky]

Beg to differ on that

That there's a monster dash, stock signals and chrome headlight ring.
That is on California Drive, Burlingame, CA 94010
I don't go on BARF but I am sure this is on there somewhere.
"I'm sorry" seriously wtf. [bang]

242PC, Misdemeanor battery with no injuries won't go very far. I'd take him to jail but he'd be cited out within four hours, have a court date in a couple months, and if he had a clean record, get maybe, big maybe.....a bit of probation or anger classes.
The rider was within his rights to protect himself.
Maybe a criminal record will prevent him from getting
That really sweet job at jiffy lube.
J-Lube requires a grasp of the english language and at least a GED. Doubt he has to worry about that now. lol

DOH! It took a second to realize it was two ducs riding together. Man that squirrel boy in the car had some nuts. Two guys on bikes and he got out of the car to start trouble.....
And I'd like to see the five minutes of video prior to where the monster rider decided to start his clip.

What could the rider possibly done to justify: the VW cutting off the bike, stomping on the brakes, obstructing traffic only so he could get out of his cage and hit the rider? The fact that the rider turned the footage into police says to me he(the rider) did nothing wrong.

all good points, but it would still be reasonable for the leo to see as much as possible prior.
it should not change anything. the biker clearly wasn't punching the asshole in the 5 min prior and probably cut the guy off and didn't even know it.
no excuse for assaulting him.
that being said, no one would have been too upset if the rider had ventilated the cager. good riddance.

The prior five minutes could show an entirely different viewpoint. The rider turning in the video to the police (if he actually did, remember, its the Internet) doesn't prove the rider did nothing wrong, especially if its just the clip we see. Frequently when someone reports a fight or road rage or the like, it turns out they are just the loser. Meaning they ran their mouth or threatened someone they shouldn't have. I'm not saying this is the case here but...you never know.
True.
saw that last night. whole thing is screwy.
I think the comments on the vid say the driver pulled in behind the bike, then the bike slowed for speed limit and yellow light. driver possibly thinks the bike tried to brake check him which caused the outburst.
Personally, if a car stops in the road like that in front of me, I'm going around and driving to the nearest well populated public place. i mean the guy drives a GTI, who knows what he's capable of.

I'd be arrested after he slapped my helmet. >:(
I would not have been sitting on my bike by the time he walked to me. I would have put the kick stand down and gotten off the bike as soon as he stopped and was opening his door.
Of course it's always easier to say what you would have done and often a different matter when you're in the situation, but I'd like to think I would have been much more prepared for a confrontation than the rider in the video was.

I wouldn't.
I'd have been sitting there, astounded at the depths of dumbmake the beast with two backsery I was witnessing.
Like watching a serene sunrise or a command performance. Some things just take your breath away.

personally....I would wait till he got out of the car and THEN pull away....it would take him time to catch up if he still insisted on pursuing and if he really then kept pursuit....well...shows his intent moreso!

I'm the same way. I have a temper when it comes to dumba$$ people like this clown.
I would not be able to restrain myself, unfortunately for him as well as myself....right after he hits my helmet, he would get an epic backhand with carbon knuckles. ;D
Why did the rider apologize to the guy? Submissive personality or did something else indeed transpire before the camera was rolling?

Exactly why I would want to see the previous five minutes or so. My first instinct if I have done nothing wrong isn't to say sorry.

His I'm sorry sounded a lot like a question to me. Along the lines of I'm sorry? Wtf is going on?
Hmm, just watched the vid again. I think I take back my previous post.

I'd like to talk to that a hole that wrote that article.
What a dumba$$
??? ???
Article calls rider "careless" in title but then in the body only speculates that he "may" have cut off driver (i.e., author has no idea what happened) and then says "man dangerously cuts off the bike". Just another example of some people's natural prejudice against bikers and assumption of being careless/wreckless/etc. Sad.
