Apparently, Sydney has a real problem with truckers ignoring warning signals when they are over height. Their DOT has had to go and install rather clever 'hey you make the beast with two backsing idiot' stop signs. They are water fall/fountain used as a screen to project a giant STOP sign in the middle of the lane where no one but the blind could miss it.
A tight fit (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoTMC-uxJoo&feature=player_embedded#)
Melbourne too...

No waterfall signs in Melbourne yet... but its a make the beast with two backsing great idea [thumbsup] (surely it wasnt thought of in NSW [cheeky])
As a huge fan of waterfalls and fountains and a huge hater of too many signs I think this is a damn good idea! Was it not Disneyland that came with with using water screens and projectors?
I really like that idea, can you imagine how bummed we would all be if they did this with ordinary red lights? Many a pair of leather would get soaked ;D
Guessing it's just a take on the Fog screen

I figure they use the water so it deploys faster and isn't prone to just blowing away.

Hey Unge bet you thought that one slipped under the radar.
Probably had to put there to stop the Victorian truckies that can't read ;D
That's pretty cool.
