The wind is supposed to ease off by Sunday, I hope it does cause I was in Lithgow today and you would not want to have been riding a bike up there.
Alas, still another couple of weeks of hard core uni work :(
Have fun guys!
I'm keen. Will confirm soon.
Would there be anyone coming from the city area? I've never ventured further west than Parra in the time I've been here in Sydney...
Could you please change my status to "possible/part" Wobbart.
Have you guys got you snow tyres on, you might just need them
Dirty bike weekend and the Monster suffers from a rego-less sickness at the moment.

... find it a bit boring actuallyBut at the moment I think work and other commitments will rule us out. Enjoy the ride.
Rob didn't have access to his computer because of an unpaid bill, so he asked me to pass on his message. [roll]
It needs to be an 8.30 meet at Maccas, Rouse Hill in order to leave by 9.
Wayne, i'm leaving from Beecroft around 8 so your welcome to tag along if you like. Better still, Rob has a spare bed at Newport, if that suits you better . Just bear in mind that he will only give you two choices of DVD's to watch Saturday night mate. Either Deliverance or Brokeback Mountain.....! ;D
Let me know if you want to meet at Beecroft
Brian [coffee]
Good idea Rob (8.30 meet) [thumbsup]
As I will have no chance to log on till very late tonight
thanks Brian for thinking of others & posting ASAP,
see you all tomorrow 8.30... [Dolph]

I should have read this earlier. Had a bit of an oopsies this morning. The "Bush mechanics" got me going again, but I'm feeling a bit sore and sorry for myself. Good news is the bike isn't too bad! Handlebar, gear shift lever and a few minor scratches that should buff out.
Hope the rest of the ride went well.
The rest of the day went well. Main thing is wayne that you are ok and we'll see you next time. Thanks Rob,Mark,Paul that was a fun run down to the caves and back [thumbsup]
Hope you all had a good day, I know it was cold over at the other caves (Wombeyan) I know think the temp went much above 15-16 in the Highlands all day. The heated grips were on all day long.
Sorry to hear of your little incident Wayne.
Important thing is you walked away (always good to have some help in times like this too) ... even better you could still ride ... and a bit of bruising is enough to remind you of consequences.
Hope you (and the bike) heal quickly.
Glad the rest of you had a good day too.

Sure does. Not to mention the ribbing I'm getting from mates who have suggested I need some training wheels...not sure which hurts more. ;)
Any pics Rob ?

Hey Rob, thanks, great pics, probably helps that I had my full face on.

Yes the Tangerine does make the red without the black stripe look kind of ordinary, even slightly dull one could say. Then if I actually washed it, WOW ! Lookout.

The pieces to the puzzle are starting to fit together.
Ride Day was Sunday the 19th.
Saturday the 18th, my phone rings.
"Brian, is that you ? Rob here, just popping over to MCAS for a few things, thought i'd call in and see what you are up to there"
Enter Wobbart that day, leaving him alone in my garage while I go and make coffee........ BIG mistake.......
Sunday morning my bike won't start, blat fattery........! charger was connected but "someone" has disconnected the extension lead from the charger.
I wonder who that could have been.......? No naming names of course [roll]
