Title: That stolen DR16 story....
Post by: He Man on July 03, 2008, 09:33:17 PM
Remember on TOB, there was a story about the DR16 being stolen when a guy was standing at the light?

Same bike's for sale on ebay.

The ad has the VIN listed.

Something tells me it's not the stolen bike.

Takes balls to sell a $70,000+ ANYTHING on ebay with only 4 feedback points!  Looks like it's parked next to a Turbo 911 in the photos.

The original Craigslist ad was on the NY craigslist...for a bike "located in Southern California"  I guess someone willing to buy the bike would be able to ship it to NY, but why wasn't it posted on a So Cal board?  I looked at the time, not there.  That seemed odd to me.

That's not actually the one from the CL ad.

This is the one.  clicky (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motorcycles___Ducati-Desmosedici_W0QQitemZ200235446050QQddnZMotorcyclesQQddiZ2283QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200235446050&_trksid=p3756.m14.l1318)

The wording is exactly the same as it was in the CL ad.

Yeah, I noticed that too.

You have to be a real dumbass to get negative feedback on your first transaction.   [roll]
