Sweeeet! Now when is Kwackers going to come back and join the fray? [popcorn]
Personally I think Aprilia could pull off a bike easily
yeah, it'll probably happen
but this article is from MCN.. and they just say 'planned'. i.e. this is the same report that's come out about 5 times. every time they have a (not very) secret test.
It's quite obvious they''ll be back within the next 2 years.
Sayonara CRT.....?

Sayonara CRT.....?
ultimately, that is what DORNA wants...CRT was a bandaid for the lack of machinery out on the grid and to help aid in the exponential costs versus a factory machine.
well if you think about it,
CRT is development for Aprilia, Kawa and BMW GP programs
Thought they wanted as many bikes on the starting grid as is humanly possible...
could you imagine!!!!!! [Dolph]
2xfactory 2x satellite for each of these!
that's a field of 28
Ducati
Honda
Yamaha
Kawa
Aprilia
BMW
Suzuki
and increased testing/practice days/time, too. ;)
And don't forget the Honda leases.
Some teams may go that route as it would be cheaper than developing a factory's bike for them...

Engines are really nothing without the frame and software.

This!
Honda is offering the whole package, albeit slightly downgraded from the "factory" satellite bikes.
The spec ECU thing tends to start to pull in the gap a bit but we are still talking about parts versus whole packages.
