I did a 1k in 15 hours on a BMW K1200RS once. On that bike it was a piece of cake!

That's awesome.
Way awesome
That guy has a thread over at advrider. I think it's called "coast to coast with an italian supermodel". Ducati even invited him to COTA to test out the new panigale R after the boss caught word of his blog. Pretty cool stuff.

I followed the thread on .ms.
He has some serious balls, writing skills, and a good eye for photography.
It's a good read if you have the time.
Woah!
Yeah, I followed this too. That dude can write. Rideapart should hire him.

wow... what a great read [thumbsup] [clap] [clap]
crap. 128 pages and I just see it. guess i know what I am doing for a few days.
Just started reading and looks like he had the same "rare" problem as me with the swingarm protector being ground down from the chain/ABS sensor/bracket/bolts.
Just saw this video come up so I thought I'd dig up this thread:
Dennis Matson's Ducati 1199 Panigale Adventure (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7QnJyvQRTk&feature=share&list=UUzGsJzGNCfvY9x6Ij2XiODw#)
I was wondering what Ducati was going to do with the footage that they shot.
The thread in ADV rider is 130 pages long, butt is an entertaining read, and I recommend it to anyone with some wanderlust lurking in there being.
I read thru that thread on adventure ride for a while. Pretty cool that he was treated so well by Ducati, he did some really good promotion of the bike. I wouldn't mind trying to see how far I could go on a Panigale.

The part about the heat on the seat feeling like he was actually burning his leg gave me pause to the idea.
