Howdy peoples.
I've been checking out a few places in Northcote for breaky.
This morning was Stuzzi, High St Northcote, halfway between town hall and the plaza.
Indoors/outdoors, parking ok, food ok, ham/spinage omlette on toast with a Moca was $17, and yes they have french toast for the more upmarket gentry!!!
Any thoughts? If not we'll pick a morning.
Cheers
Madalf.
sounds fine, what date you thinkin?
OK Gang [moto]
Dates for Coffee/breaky. [beer] [drink] [coffee]
12th or 19th of this month...July me thinks.
Any takers, any other ideas, open to suggestion and corruption here.
Cheers.
Madalf
19th is good for me !! Only on arvo shift the night before [coffee], so I'll only be half knackered [thumbsup]
As on the 12the that follows night shift so I'll only be getting home that morning so I'll be fully Jatz Crackered ;D.
I'd be up for Saturday the 12th!
Ita - can you do another Saturday you 'ladies man'?
Brendan - have you finished your training yet, learnt where and where not to pee?
Hee hee, thanks Spider, yep puppy class is over so I'm clear, Desmo pee's on command now, but still squats like a girl :-[
The 19th is good for me, busy on the 12th.

In situations of crisis there is usually one person that will stand tall and be a pillar of order and strength, quite often that person is insane.
see you on the 19th! [clap]
Sanity is just so common.....

What time are we meeting Alf ?
MMMMMMM!!! [coffee]
Big mug of coffee, scrambled eggs on toast with strips of fresh cooked [bacon].
All the while looking at some of Italy's finest!! And maybe the bikes too [thumbsup]

Hi Peoples.
A reminder for the coffee/breaky get together. [coffee]
I'll book a table near the front door, and we'll try to get a park out the front.
9:00am Stuzzi Northcote 319-325 High Street. Approx 300metres on the left after the Northcote Town Hall, heading North,ie away from city.

Hello again.
Table booked under the name of Ducati, plenty of room for 8.
If the weathers good we'll be out the front, if not that table has been reserved for us.
Look forward to meeting some new Monsters...so to speak! [evil]
Cheers,
Madest Alf.
Thanks Alf, see you there at 9:00am.
I'll have the dirtiest Monster there, too much commuting, too lazy to wash it again.

My dear esteemed friend Spider,
You embarrass me with such a public showing of your deep emotion, to think you would bring your new hugger, belt covers smoke deflector and clear indicators, it so heart warming. The t-shirt, well anyone can buy one of those.
Tool
ah, but if we start the 'ball' rolling - this could be a trend - don't worry - we will wash oh collective hands of it before it becomes 'too' popular!
surely you want to see my shirt?
at this stage you can't buy the shirt - you have to EARN it! [thumbsup] (don't worry we sell them later)

It's a wank, but that's O.K, I'm a wanker ;D

Hey guys,
Great brekky this morning. The food was first class, as was the company.
It's always good to see what other guys are doing with their bikes too. [thumbsup]
I still think it would be good to spend a morning in Elizabeth Street or perhaps at that new Ducati shop and look at some bikes as well.
Perhaps next time. ;D
Looking forward to the ride on the 2nd !
Cheers.

Hey I resent that statement! I know I can sometimes wake up in the gutter looking worse for wear, but I thought I pulled up okay this time round... ;)
Oh and Spider, the source of the mod that I mentioned-- coxracingroup.com, but the relevant link for you is http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.ACCT110029/sc.2/category.28/.f (http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.ACCT110029/sc.2/category.28/.f), same as Hypermotard Oil Cooler Guard.
Here's pic for those of you who didn't get a geez:

Hey Spider, If you are going to go for one of those rad grilles, you want to split the postage?? And get 2 maybe they just might give a discount??? ;)
Plus another, sounds like a job for Spider imports...Vandalay Inc

boys - you want them in black?
Alf - is your grill the same as ours? (different engine etc)
Dragon - put my order in about 1/2 hour ago - but will contact and arrange some changes!
Spider, me thinks you could be right, leave it for now.
I'll check it out later and get my own.
Cheers
Alf.H.
I could give you measurements?
or part no.?
part no is...
548.4.030.1a (monster 1000s)
548.4.030.3a (monster 800) - all 1000cc bikes - retro/monster.
548.4.080.1a (HM)
now the answer is that a s2r800 & M1000s both use the new part 303a.
The Cox radiator says it fits HM, SS, SC & PS. SS/SC and M all share components....you'll be OK!
Kewl 'nanas! Black is good for moi. [thumbsup]
Bob at Ducati City was absolutely brilliant! highly recommended - Vic boys - if you need any spares give Bob a call, he was great!
Been promising myself a trip there to have a squizz!! I have heard that the bike sales staff are a "snobby bunch of pricks??" ???

Nah you'd be confusing the City guys with the real pricks at Ducati Melbourne out in Richmond.
The sales guys in City are friendly as. Particularly Ed, who's really easy to speak with.

Don't hold back JC, tell us how you really feel about them! ;D
It must be a salesperson thing, even car sales. They always strut around like their shit doesnt stink and they are Gods gift to the world!! [roll]
As far as the spares part of Zagames in Richmond, Ange and his off sider have always been great for me with any queries and service. [thumbsup]

Yup I've been to the joint in Elizabeth Street twice and was treated like a leper both times.... I'll never spend a cent in the place...
Very happy to do my business with Ange and the boys at Zagames.... I didn't buy my bike there so no comment on their sales staff, but will continue to let them look after the girl... [thumbsup]
Ita
Had the same sought of experience as ita they did'nt have time for me until i dropped some cash then they got nicey nicey, although to give them some leeway they were falling over themselves to sell HEAPs of stuff to some dude who just bought a new monster and leathers, helmet, boots, textile jacket, gloves etc,etc...(so that might be the trick just turnup with $ 50's falling out of your pockets they might feint some interest)
I have nothing against the parts guys in Richmond so much... Dealt with them a lot (sic: Angelos as well) and fairly helpful with parts enquiries, but as soon as you mention your bike is bought elsewhere they pretty much give you the arse.
"Oh you've got a noise on your new bike do you? Where did you buy it from? Oh that must mean they don't know their shit like us, so you can tell em that the doohickey needs replacing, that'll be $X,000 thank you very much"
But back to the original discussion, it's the sales guys at Richmond I despise. But that's another story... :P
