I believe it'll be close. I recall there's a frame tube near the vertical barrel that's dimpled for clearance on the S4Rs bikes that (I think) isn't on the S4R bikes. I'm also fairly certain that the cross-bracing above the front motor mount bolt is the same... Rest of it will be interchangable as far as I can remember...
Of course, you'll need an S4Rs motor to do it for the swingarm pivot width.
Ducati claimed the S4Rs frame had been braced in the steering head region to increase stiffness by five per cent over the 996 S4R.
I've no idea what that amounted to, nor whether it affected engine room.

Looks like he used a S4R swing arm.
The ST4 frame is pretty similar to the S4R frame and came with the same 996.
"Modified frame to accept the airbox. Modified exhaust system. Modified tank to fit over the airbox.Loads of other little changes to make the package work. Probably missed lots off here cos it's been nearly 2 years and 7000 miles since i completed this conversion."
This sounds like a "i should buy an extra frame and a new engine project" rather than messing with the bike I've got. I don't have the facilities or tools to do this efficiently right now. (only 23 and of limited means... Lol limited means with a Ducati)
What are some of the more radical options for a project like this? Also, some of the more economical ways of getting a lot of parts.
