Title: iPod troubleshooting
Post by: IZ on June 25, 2013, 02:36:46 PM
Typically when I connect the iPod to the computer, it opens up the iTunes page and the list of songs/playlists on that particular iPod.  It's not doing it that now.  ITunes doesn't open.  It does however, recognize that there is an iPod connected.   How do I get the computer or iTunes to recognize the iPod again?  I just purchased a few songs and I can't download them from ITunes list?!   Any clues?

I know on an ipad there's a setting to open itunes when connected.

Is there a settings menu on an ipod?

You may need to open itunes and download the latest software. Then try again. I've had to do that a few times.

If you connect your ipod/ipad to the cloud, any song you download on any device goes to all devices.

IZ, I hope you can see this well enough . . . Open iTunes, go to Help, then click on Run diagnostics with the iPod connected, I just went thru this a few days back . ..  had to reset the iPod and then all was good.

I found the bar right after I posted earlier.  I guess I'll have to do this though.  ^
