I just wanted to say thanks to the best bunch of people I have ever met!! You guys and gals rock!!! Its been a little over a year since I joined the ranks of you, but it seems like we have been friends forever. I really want to say thanks! You guys will be missed so much by mindy and I. I want to say thanks to brian for the reading material and DVD's when I went down last Oct. thanks to charles for coming over and getting me out of the house, leo for pushing me in the wheelchair all over the motorcycle show, cory for being a great little brother. George for the cigars at charles house, jason for the plane rides, patrick for being my non-meat eating gang brother!! Scott and steph for just being you and on and on and on and on, it would never stop. Like I said you guys are the best!! I will still be a hardcore member of this board, since my new board sucks, I just won't be able to make many rides. [laugh] It makes me said that I have to go, but everythimg happens for a reason! Hopefully someday soon either I will be back or you may be in my neck of the woods and stop in for a Rum and diet pepsi, You are always welcome!! I really am going to miss you all!! I am not taking a computer so it will probally be a couple of days before I get a chance to post, so be safe, and don't change!!!!!
Cheers to the best bunch of hooligans ever! [beer]
Love you all (not in the gay way)
Alan

Phew! I almost wondered about you and Cory there. But alls good then. ;D
Take care man. Post up as soon as you can. We'll keep our fingers crossed about the Miller thing. I just might take up drinking again but exclusively Miller beer so they have to increase production in the Fort Worth plant.

Happy trails brother! Hope to hear from you in a few days when you get the 'puter up and running. Just so you don't worry about it, I am organizing a large group of volunteers to ride your bike on a daily basis to keep the tires fresh and warm, the soot blown out of the D&Ds and the battery fully charged. No need to thank us, hey, that's what friends are for! [laugh] Besides, Cory needs to find something else to detail and clean besides his own sled. It's just as much for him as it is for you!! [thumbsup]
Take care!!

Let us know how the job situation progresses!

hope everything goes as smoothly as possible for you with the transition in ohio...give us a yell if you need anything. you'll definitely be missed man, but i wish you the best [thumbsup]
Okay gang sorry for the long delay on this end, but no computer, 2 days in a hotel and finally a place at work I can get on and say hey! But the trip up here went fine, nothing major or minor for that matter! Other than only getting 12 miles to the gallon in the BYMT (big yellow monster truck) The LYD made it safe and sound. I unloaded it monday night, but it rained tuesday, so today was the 1st day for me to ride. Beautiful country roads, too many are straight around here but about 30 miles in any direction are hills and curves. I am going to go exploring this weekend, anybody wanna come ride with me? [laugh] But as for now all is going good. I will keep everyone in mind and I will be responding on the board. Have a good day!!

Now thats the L'Smart ASS we all love!! [laugh]
Alan, glad you made it in one piece! Heck, sounds like the roads are better up there than here... of course it doesn't take much to consider anything an improvement over our roads. I've been in elevated parking garages that beat our roads! Hope the bike enjoys it's new surroundings! [thumbsup] They do have rum and diet Pepsi in Ohio don't they? God I hope so for your sake! Otherwise it will be more care packages from Texas! [laugh] [drink] Is there a Ducati shop anywhere near you? If so how far is it? If you need anything for the scooter just let us know if we can get it for you that is if it's not available locally or via the 'puter.
Talk at you soon!

Thanks Brian! Yes yesterday I finally found a liquor store, they do it weird up here,(state owns the liquor store) but yes I have the RUM!! The country roads around here are nice. I am going to go on a ride tomorrow. [thumbsup] Heading either south or towards cleveland. Then the weekend cory is visiting his family in PA I am going to go ride out there to see him. (about 90 miles) As for Duc dealers (not true duc dealers, more like eurosports) there is one 36 miles in Akron, 48 miles to cleveland and 69 miles to pittsburgh.
alan glad you made it ok. how is tyler's hand doing? they had a big thing on the news last night about how the gm plant down here would not be shutting down they would continue to build suv's except only the hybrid's. anyway you have fun. [moto]

Glad everything is going well for you in the buckeye state. You are in prime riding weather......enjoy. But I'll be thinking about you this winter when LYD is hibernating and we're all riding ;D
Lived in the ohio valley my whole life. Beautiful, but cold!
