Hey guys,
I just bought a 1994 M900 that has been really well taken care of and that already has had a lot done to it. I was hoping for some suggestions for some more things to do with it! Here is a list of the current mods...
Powder coated pegs and brackets, clutch cover and bar clamps. Carbon exhaust with fully heat wrapped manifolds. PSR slave cylinder. Aftermarket clutch. Rear cowl can be removed to ride two up. Updated brembo clutch master and kickstand. New chain and sprockets. Adjustable levers. LED integrated taillight.
Also, apart from the mods, is there any weird technical/electrical things that I should keep an eye out for?

Nice bike [thumbsup]
Got service records? If the timing belts are over two years old, change them. If the brake and clutch fluid are over a year old change it. Same with the oil and filter. Check the age of the tires. They should be less than five years old.
Was that from NY? I think I saw the same bike on craigslist. Nice buy! Only thing I would do is remove the reflector from the forks. Sounds/looks like you got the rest already done aside from random maint listed above.
Also, welcome to DMF!
You have to replace the wheels with carbon fiber ones, and install a turbocharger. And a full fairing and a 300 mm rear tire.
Or you could just ride it and worry about farkles later.
ride the hell out of it.
buy gas for it.
buy tires for it.
FCR's. [evil]
FCRs with a turbocharger!!
And maybe change that GIGANTIC Ducati badge to the classic early Monster font.
Nice Monster, have fun riding AND modding it! Make it your own!
Maybe it's just the camera angle but does that headlight look freakishly big to anyone else?
FCRs + 14t front sprocket [thumbsup]
FCR41 carbs and Exactfit coils are a nice upgrade and come in a discounted kit from California Cycleworks (forum sponsor). A light flywheel is another great upgrade.
Check the engine studs, if they are stainless, replace them with CCW studs as some early studs are known to break (dont ask me how I know [bang]).

Forgot about that. Replacement after they break is way more difficult.
Hi comp pistons are a great modification, but require the new engine studs and ignition timing retarded 2-3 deg.
Open airbox, K&N filter and jet kit is another good mod. If you open the airbox, you have to rejet it for sure.
That's pretty maybe loos the oversized 70's tank decal.
Over here early monsters are starting to become valuable.
It's a piece of crap, bad year.
Leave it at my house, I will tow it for free.
