Hi All,
Decided Im going with Competition Werks tail chop. 2007 s2r800.
Who has done it? Pics appreciated!
Thanks!
i did it. it's easy. plenty of guides on here. i used a tubing cutter, rather than a hack saw. made a nice clean cut.
CW tail chop for the new monsters SUCKS... hopethe older one is better for you
Agree with raux on the new ones. In hindsight I wish I went with a diff company but at the time there wasn't any selection.
Its a 2007 s2r.. looks better on older style, yes.
I have it. Extremely good quality and so easy anyone could do it. I REALLY dislike the huge area for the plate light that I didn't need and no option to not have it.
I would recommend a hacksaw not a pipe cutter...pipe cutter gashed my frame up sumthin fierce and the hacksaw was clean and easy if you're careful and deliberate. I'll post pics later if ya want

Was going to see about cutting that out and having it welded back together then cleaned up. I agree that it's useless with out the plate light.
I bought a plate light I didn't even need because I hated the way it looked so much.
I've got the integrated rear brake that shines on the plate as well as the plate screw lights. Thought about just putting it in front of the wheel and look like one of this guys. Then as I consider that, I realize I don't want to wear pleated dockers with my polo tucked in. That's what those guys wear right? ;D
I had the CW on the S2R I went with the Strada Avventurosa kit for the S4Rs

Unc Mo, I'm not seeing that licence/light bracket on their site. Bummer, nice piece of kit!
Pipe cutter works well. Just put tape down. That way the paint doesn't get scratched/chipped or flake.

If you are interested email him. He made a bunch of them but never put them on the site.
