Anyone use rizoma touring bars on a s4r. Wondering if the cables lines reach ok. And how they worked out. Any buzzing in the bars?
Yeah, I'm curious about that too.
Don't know specifically what Rizoma Touring bars are, and the fitment differences between a S4R and an 1100 EVO, but if it is any help, I have a set of the Rizomas (MA008) on my EVO and had no problems with the cable or lines.
The Rizoma web site has an illustration with all dimensions.
MA005 is the 'touring' bar
the lines fit, but it is close

I used the MA005 on my Monster 1000ie with a fat bar riser adapter (1 inch). Can't see there being much difference between the IE's and S4R's. I had to re-route my fast idle cable. The left hand switch block wires were tight but I fiddled around with them behind the light moving them by undoing the dash loom and re-routing. Make sure you have your red key if you are going to do this. Other than that everything else fit fine. Best bet is to pull the headlight and fairing while fitting so you can play with cables and wires. Mind you, you will probably have an extra 1inch of room to play with as I had to use the risers/adapters with my triple as it is made for standard 7/8 bars. Not the fat bars.
Here they are on mine -

Yes. It won't start once the dash has been disconnected.
I have unplugged the dash without any problems. I did have the battery out for the winter.

Same here. I had my dash out and disassembled to fix moisture leak.
