Well she finally rode her home today. After a month without a bike, she was so excited. She lit up when she saw it. We both rode out of the dealer on our Monsters today. What a great day. We already have her tail chop waiting at the house, and I ordered her clear Motodynamics integrated taillight tonight. :) It's going to be a busy weekend coming up!

+1 [thumbsup]
now get her on the board so she can start modding the hell out of that thing.
i like the white/red combo.
also, this is a great (albeit expensive) mod for to lose the passenger pegs on your evo...i may have to look further into this, you should too since you've already done the hard part! [beer]

Her and I did the tail chop and integrated tail-light today. Came out GREAT!! She wants me to post for her on the forum. She has her exhaust options narrowed down to Vance & Hines CS1, Arrow or Leo Vince. Suggetions on any of these 3? I have heard them all online, just not in person.
Here are a few before and after pics.

What mod were you speaking of for passenger pegs on the EVO? I took mine off months ago lol
i was talking about the "get her her own damn bike so she doesn't have to ride on the back of mine" mod lol.
is that the motodynamics tail light? i need to get me one of those...
also, dont be so quick to rule out the sc project cans - those things look sweet too [thumbsup]
I would look into an SC project pipes, they look really good and i heard it has a pregnant dogin sound [thumbsup]
there's so much awesome here. [thumbsup]
Barney, To save Dexter the time, yup that is a Moto Dynamics taillight. I also have one. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTIONS [thumbsup]!
Regarding pipes, my first Monster had Leo Vince pipes and my wife said it sounded like a beater. She liked the Termy sound on my second one much better. I didn't mind it, butt YMMV.
[thumbsup]
I will definitely look into the SC project pipes and see if she likes them. I just started working for a Ducati Dealer so i do get break on the Termi's, but i do not want us to have the same pipes. ;)
Once we have our Dyno room finished, i am going to have my bike and hers tuned.
Lovely bike Dex [thumbsup]
I like the tail chop. I like the looks of a bike without that rear fender and I would like to do it on my bike too ... but since I often ride in rain, I need that rear fender.
Thanks Bob......these bikes will never see rain unless we get caught while taking a long trip. If the weather calls for 40% or more chance of rain, they stay inside. ;D
Terrific work, on both counts! [thumbsup]

Yeah, hers already doesn't look like that lol
She got her Vance and Hines CS1 slip ons today. I will be posting pics in the mods section once they are on. Keep an eye out. ;)

Hey, thanks for joining the party! [thumbsup]
So i have pulled the left side muffler off no problem. The right one has to be stuck. It will not com off!
Any tips/tricks you guys used when removing the stock mufflers?
I sprayed the connection between the slip-on and the header with PB blaster IIRC then wiggled it and twisted it hard. It came off eventually...but I don't know if it's the PB blaster or the wiggling and twisting that got it off ;D
Oh and I did it when the engine and the exhaust is cold. The next several times I removed the LV slip-ons, i also did it when the bike is cold.

I actually just sprayed a tiny bit of Wd-40 on it and let it sit for 20 mins. It was enough to pull it off. Put them on, they sound awesome. Pics later.
