I feel so safe now.
I swear I rolled up to a guy at a light who had a drink in one hand and a burger in the other. Driving. Light turned green, he left with both hands on food and made a left.
Makes one think...
vigilante |ˌvijəˈlantē|
noun
a member of a self-appointed group of citizens who undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority, typically because the legal agencies are thought to be inadequate. ;)
that made me laugh :D
haha
HAHA! That was funny and sad to say, true.
My husband tried to answer his phone while driving. He knew it was illegal and so he was trying to hide it while answering [evil]. It made it way more dangerous than just answering the stupid thing. I told him he was an idiot and that his employees could wait until he got to his destination. It's just going to be worse now. Because of the law, there may be fewer people on the phone while driving (maybe), but those who continue to use the phone will be even more scary.

This woman was eating while driving behind me in Palo Alto and just as I was thinking "I hope she doesn't rear-end me"... SHE DID! People need to realize that they are sucky drivers and that they shouldn't multi-task while doing the one thing that they need 110% attention for! They all should practice on a motorcycle, realize how important it is to be fully cognizant of what's going on around them, and then get back behind a wheel! (Phew, sorry...needed to get that off my chest!) :-\

I struggle with this idiocy as well. It's pretty funny how the guy in the video appeared to be in an suv (or some type of larger) vehicle to boot. Its always people in these vehicles that are likely to kill you. The idea that you can in drive around in something similar to your living room couch (but deadly due to its sheer mass and force) is what's making people drive like douches.
The people who really suck at driving get big cars because they want to feel insulated and safe. These are the exact people that should be given mopeds to ride around on [evil]
Funny. Sad. True.
On a side note... Is it just me, or does that guy look like he could be Tigre's twin brother? [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
In Tigre's defense, he doesn't do any of those idiotic things while driving. No, he prefers to roam the paddock in his undies while text messaging. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

I really thought that was Tigre ;D
Pretty funny video though.
Half of the activities depicted in the video I've seen people actually doing behind the wheel, and that was before this dumb law went into effect. [roll] Funny, though.

Bicycle first. Then motorcycle. Then small car. Tests between each stage.
Funny video. So even though drivers have to talk via Bluetooth, I believe they can still legally text.
