as much of a fan of Team Unorthodux I am, this one is pretty cool too.
sorry if it's a dupe, I searched and didn't see it.

I missed seeing that one on the salt this year.
Gorgeous build! (Just glad it's not in my class!)
LSR isn't like NASCAR... you don't have to pick just one!
I didn't see it either. What's the deal with the outrigger wheel?

Looks like a dolly arrangement to move the thing around.

Ah yes... Now I see it. My first thought was that these two were taken under power.... I was looking at the bike, not the salt.

I believe those pics were from a shakedown run. I read somewhere else they had stability problems and didn't actually go for a record. just what I heard, can't confirm.
Was this WoS, BUB, or SCTA?
isnt the record around 324 mph?
Current record is 376.363mph.

IIRC, that triumph was at BUB.
Stability problems are par for the course on new streamliners, usually exacerbated by the pilot never having been in one before.
The folks that are the big hitters usually have been driving them for decades.

Rider input? ;D
Super low, quite heavy, very long wheelbase, and the pilot is strapped tight into a tiny cockpit with absurd visibility and awkward controls.
Totally outside the behavior envelope of a conventional motorcycle.

Understood...
Why does a new driver/rider cause instability issues?
