Well, how about it? Thursday the 10th at 1pm - I'Fratelli's [thumbsup]
I wish I could make it but I work through lunches now. I should be more free on the weekends so if there is a weekend lunch I have a better chance of making it.
You guys have fun.
Swanny
Dang, can't make this one--I'll be in Mineral Wells.
[bacon]
Lisa you read my mind. As soon as I saw the thread for the westie dinner this Thursday I thought shoot can't make that but we're due for an I'Fratelli's lunch/dinner soon, maybe I'll post something. Bingo. Already done. [thumbsup]
I'm 95% sure I'm there. Have an appt. at 10:45 in Addison which should be over in an hour and I could saunter westward from there and maybe stop by to harass Peter at ML along the way to kill some time. Sounds like a plan. [clap] Jen will once again be mad that she can't go to a DMF gig. She thinks we plan them around her so she can't go. She thinks all the spouses go to everything and I purposely leave her out. ??? I tell her if she can go she's welcome but be prepared for non stop bike bullshit. She's been warned! [bang]
See ya'll Thursday!
Jen needs a 'bike [evil]
Ain't never gonna happen. If she could nod like the gal in Bewitched and have all guns, chainsaws, knives and motorcycles deleted from this planet Earth she would do it in a heartbeat. Like I continue to say, besides being married to me, the assault weapon guru/motorcycle nut case what the hell is wrong with that girl?? [laugh]

I'Fratelli's has [bacon] Marsalla.
O.K. maybe not.
Let's go anyway.

My guns, chainsaws, knives and motorcycles are my FAVORITE things. Really.

...and my
BACON [bacon]
NOTHING ELSE ...except ...Just this ashtray!
And this paddle game.
The ashtray and the paddle game
and that's all I need.
And this remote control.
The ashtray, the paddle game
and the remote control. That's all I need.
And these matches.
The ashtray, these matches
the remote control and the paddle ball.
And this lamp.
The ashtray...
...this paddle game, the remote control...
...and the lamp, and that's all I need.
And that's all I need, too!
I don't need one other thing!
Not one. I need this.
The paddle game, the chair...
...the remote control
and the matches, for sure.
What are you looking at?

Are you kidding, how could Rich forget? Duke plays the paddle game. How else do you think a dog can stay in his sidecar on long trips without getting bored?
Are we there yet?

Are you bringing Andre? Anything involving philosophy and Ducatis requires Andre's presence. Not sure how he feels about combining bacon and philosophy but I'm OK with it! [thumbsup] As you said... everything is better with bacon. All this talk about bacon has to be driving Patrick nuts! [laugh]

best to avoid becoming the Little PhotoShoppe of Horrors :o
Now that's funny!!! I may be caging it. I don't mind seeing ya'll dripping in sweat from a ride in 100 degree weather but I have an appt. right before then. So I'll be pullin' up all chillin' with the AC on high in the 4 wheeler. 8)

I'd like to say I had a great time seeing everybody and meeting John and Kevin, but since no pictures were taken, this lunch didn't happen.

No but if it haD happened, the food would have been great, and the company even better. It would have been nice to meet Kevin (in person) (finally), & of course, although it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, it would have been great to see everyone!

Well I can say that it was an allegedly excellent lunch and I allegedly enjoyed everyones company and lets do it again real soon.
Bueno time. Good to see John and Ron show unexpectedly, a pleasant surprise. [thumbsup] Very nice to meet Kevin, nice to put a voice and face with an avatar. You need to join us on some rides when you earn sufficient "kitchen points"... you too John! Hopefully when it gets under 100, degrees not mph. [thumbsup] Nice quality group, had fun as always. Sorry about the long wait on food. That's usually not their style at all. Hope that didn't cramp some folks trying to get back to work at a decent hour. Look forward to the next lunch/BS session. [clap]
Have no fear, we were caught on surveillance cameras at the liquor store restauraunt so all is not lost...
Great to see John, "Duc Fever" (formerly of "John & Terry" fame). And it was good to get a chance to finally meet Kevin (with the completely bizarre screen name of, "Kevin848"). What's up with that?
Anyway glad we got together - great time [thumbsup]

You mean you weren't there?!?!? [roll]
Kitchen Points: domestic points that are earned and allocated by your local "she who must be obeyed" and only by her. They are used as tools of trade, as in the barter system. You are only allowed to do as much as the points you have earned allow you to do. For instance, group ride to Muenster, you'll be gone all day with riding buddies, that will cost you 50,000 kitchen points. The method for determining of the exact value of the points you have earned is very complicated and can change daily... even by the hour. They are earned or allocated (depending on her mood) by doing dishes, helping clean the house before her next Southern Living party, cleaning the house after the party is over, riding herd on the kid(s) while she goes to a bunko party with the girls from the Southern Living party while your friends give you shit because you can't go somewhere with them because of riding herd on the previously mentioned kid(s), generally being nice and keeping your mouth shut when you really want to let it run, being nice to all her family, including the ones that deserve a lit roman candle up their ass (oops, that was another thread!), being nice to all her friends... even the ones that don't really like you... you know, the ones at the Southern Living party :P, always remembering birthdays, anniversarys, dates of deaths in the family, first dates and where you went and what you did, etc. The details of what actually entails the earning of said kitchen points is individual and relationship specific. Like no two snowflakes are ever alike, no two kitchen point earning acts are ever the same for two individuals. To be fair to the girls, they probably have their own similar system but it beats the hell out of me what it is or how it works since so much of my time and effort seems to be spent solely on my acquisition of the much heralded and sought after points. They are the brass ring, the famed Holy Grail or chalice, Arc of the Covenant... this is really important shit. No ticky no washy. Not enough points? Sorry dude, no scooter rides with friends, no carrousing with Svoloch at the Dubliner, no MotoGP race watch party at AMS. Life without points is just not living. Long live kitchen points and the enjoyment and fulfillment of life that they bring! [drink] [wine] [beer] [bang] [laugh]
I look at it as chores for freedom [laugh]

That happens. Just like money it can go fast. Bust out that vacuum cleaner, hit the dirty dishes, wash her car and get ready to go to the mall to help her pick out shoes and tops! [thumbsup] [laugh] Might be a chick movie in your future after the shopping. Almost had to go see "Sex in the City" but figured the points just weren't worth doing that. :P
