Can you guys give me some trusted names to ship a bike from WA to CA?
I've used Allied twice with good results.
One-way flight and a u-haul might be cheaper at that distance depending on the cities? Or fly there and ride it back [evil]
Have Travis ( or me ) ride it there for you?

only potential problem with this is the number of moose that may get humped along the way and if they decide to imitate the cows humping bikes thread of videos.

They did not show up in my searches. I checked the few options eBay was suggesting.
I try to list on UShip, but I got only a few bids, and all of them were either from people with low feedback, or from people with no cargo insurance.
You can literally go crazy in reading all those shippers reviews.
Anyway, I ended up selecting these guys: http://www.motorcycleshippers.com (http://www.motorcycleshippers.com)
I hope for the best [roll]

The local dealer used to use them...Forward...and had good luck.
The dealer is gone now or I think they'd still be using them.
My sibling's have used uship.com a bunch of times to ship anything from cars and motorcycles to furniture. It is a bidding system like ebay. You enter the date you want the item shipped, along with the pickup location and some information about the item. Then you can choose if you want covered transport or open air. Then, shippers on the site put out bids for your shipment. To ensure you are using a quality shipper, they have a feedback rating system just like ebay. Again, I've personally never used it, but my brother's and sister's have used this service with great results.
I've used Pasha/Allied three times for trans-oceanic moves with motorcycles, and have had nothing but outstanding luck with them. If memory serves correct, it cost about $1200 to ship my SC from Honolulu to the DC area back in 2010. That also covered something like $12K in insurance.
I got back the invoice from MotorcycleShippers (AKA JC Motors), and they use STI for my shipment.
Paid $640 with $10000 insurance and two weeks delivery window.
