I just slapped it together quick so no music, I'd do something different anyway
I'm going to do it again with the camera outside and see which view is better for that.
Probably put the better of the two to music.
Thanks, it can be a pain in heavy traffic but I feel that engine is best suited to a standard transmission.
How long is the 9 minutes in real time?
Describe real... :P

I have no clue, now I'm going to be hyper focused on what my hand is doing.
Anyone read sign language?
Maybe I subconsciously bring a message of hope.
that kind of traffic makes me want to harm people [or myself..]
I can only assume you stopped to buy lotto tickets.
Also, the shifter hand had me cracking up.

that was lighter than normal
How bored at work am I? I just watched your entire commute video. Background music would help.
From where to where and what's the distance? 2 1/2 hrs?!! Is that normal?

125 miles each way, the way I go.
Hawley PA to Long Island City, NY to Hawley, PA
That assumes going to the office.
2 hours is the rare amazing day. 2 1/2 is pretty normal. Real bad has been much more. There have been times where it is 2+ hours just to the GW Bridge. That means alternatives are just as bad if I stay that course.
I'm going to do another one with the GoPro outside the car and the music I have deemed appropriate will go on the better of the two.

You do know we have trains in the NY metro area. Some of them even go underground. No claw necessary. And you can sleep.

that made for a 3 1/2 hour commute each way and the Port Jervis line is freight train tracks from Suffern up so sleeping isn't so easy
Did that for the first year and got sick of it.
Constantly obsessed with making it to a specific train in time and if there are track or signal problems I'm screwed
The only bad part about the driving is the city itself, the rest is easy and somewhat relaxing

I had no clue that I did that with my hand so I'm scared of what weird facial expressions I do :P

Oddly I kind of wonder about that too. I would only want to see a single, funny picture, not 9 1/2 minutes of video of it.

Would I be incorrect assuming you would rather drive than ride a train...

I feel a bit more in control of my own destiny, illusion of control or not...it eases my frantic mind. [laugh]
I knew I wasn't wrong. :-*
