I would never expect something like this to do anywhere near half of what you could or would do in a single piece...and certainly not for production...but I thought it interesting nonetheless and had to share...

Oh, no doubt. What's cool is you can build that for not all that much money and then actually make stuff.

I need some new brackets for my fence as some of the vinyl ones cracked. With that I could make them all from chinesium or some other precious metal.

Public Enemy back in the day, Terminator X, Flava Flav, & Chuck D!....though admittedly, he has grown up a bit from back then and gotten all responsible and stuff... see here -> http://www.publicenemy.com/ (http://www.publicenemy.com/)

so, is it safe to assume that you didn't know the song or catch what I was referencing at 1st?

8)  8)  8)

Back on track, the power might not be much, but if I look at all the things I've made with my Dremel; I droll at the thought of how much more could I do on 3-axis, let alone 5!  [evil]

This is cool.  Useless, but cool:

LEGObot 3D Printer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IsR-GGL8-g#)

Someday when I get bored with my current list of hobbies I will buy or build a 3D printer for my shop.  Right now, between the VW resto-mod, Cagiva mods and maintenance, Saturn Sky, 1942 Allis-Chalmers Model B tractor, firearm builds, reloading bench, garage/shop setup, and flying lessons, I have my plate full.
