Ha, for my Dick Tracy alter ego. :D
I figured it was one or the other. And I also figured if it was the other it would be Dick Tracy ;D

I read a dozen reviews. All negative. Need to wait a bit until they learned how to make it actually useful.
I'm holding out for the nokia/trojan dictaphone.
Cool concept... but with my giant fingers, a touchscreen the size of a watch face is worse than useless. :-\

With the flexible touchscreens coming down the pipe this gets outdated quick.
My opinion is that when/if they make the flexible ones really durable and scratch resistant, this idea will turn into a 4 inch long touchscreen that you snap onto your wrist and it wraps around.
Maybe.
I only wear a watch if I go to a fancy event, so I'd not likely buy this type of thing in any form in the near future.
next the screen will be morphed into a flexible screen which can then be applied in applications like quarterbacks in football games having a screen like this on their armband for playcalling....
As soon as I bought my first cell phone, I stopped using a watch.
Want to talk to your wrist? Why use a Bluetooth headset.
Want to tell time? Use your phone.
Want to use applications on a screen? Use your phone, that tiny thing will not be useful.
Good job on the commercial!

Maybe this is more of a chess move... if Apple were to put this out first, what is the chance it would be seen as visionary? Then Samsung would have to put out something similar in response.
By putting this out first, they deny a potential market to Apple as they continue to trounce them in the market.

ummm...Apple sort of does have something like this in a way...they don't market it that way or anything...but those lil rinky dink looking Nano's that I have seen on an accessory? watch band and boom
The problem I have is that everyone will end up hearing my conversation? That or use a Bluetooth at which point having this as a watch loses the point.

Not a phone, but they were way ahead of Samsung.

I stand corrected... maybe this is a response to Apple?

My guess would be they caught wind of the iWatch and jumped first. The nano watch was way ahead of Samsung. I think the iWatch will crush their attempt.
We have yet to see the iWatch, but we have seen that Samsung's time-to-market is much better than Apple's, making at least seem that Apple now is reacting to whatever Samsung is releasing. Anyway you see it, after watching the second video Kopf posted, I can say that I will not be buying a smart watch simply because I rarely use my phone for the 6 things they mention. It is simply useless without a workable keyboard.

We are old. The noobs, however, may adopt this more quickly.
It will probably use voice recognition, but I have yet to find any phone that understands Rican very well.
