Enjoy! [laugh] [bacon] [laugh] [bacon] [laugh]
In more ways than one!
QuoteThis all took three hours and my house filled with smoke, but it was worth it. Be sure to put a cookie sheet with a rim below the cooking bacon in the oven, there was a lot of dripping fat and I saw a few flames. Watch your oven carefully!
good thing we have a fire extinguisher on hand! ;)
That is so cool. I'm just trying to imagine what other animal to use to substitute for the plants. [bacon]
I cook with my left over bacon grease....and I have lots of it. <slurp>
I have glanced the holy land!
and it has bacon! ;D
I need to make those-mebbe I'll have a cookout.

I would assume that one could just fill the cups with, you know, bacon...
:P

Nono, this requires something more. Perhaps bits of ham, sausage, steak, hamburger and anything else like that thrown in in a jumble of meat, like some sort of delicious meat filled pinata, and then had cheese melted all throughout it to hold it together. We could serve it with defibrillator paddles!

Not complete without at least a full stick of butter per cup.
I'll provide the rides to the ER. [cheeky]

I think you'll be too full of tofu bacon cups to even
move, let alone drive.

Not only will they have bacon flavored anaesthesia, they can cut open your stomach and directly insert more bacon!

Bleah, tofu bacon, no thanks. I will be too full of carrots though. ;D
With a proper bacon weave, plates could be formed to match the cups.
And bacon placemats!! [bacon] [bacon] [bacon] [bacon] [bacon] [bacon] [bacon] [bacon]
This sort of classy food would require an equally classy drink.
I was thinking a kiddie pool with about 20 gallons of jack and coke.

Carrots don't count, unless they can be somehow formed into a cup-like shape.

You may not yet realize it, but you've just discovered bacon fiber. Stronger and more environmentally-friendly than carbon fiber. You can sell it to sports car and bicycle manufacturers. You'll be rich!
If you can manage to not eat all the product, at least.
Thats great ;D
However those bacon bowls are way to small. You need to use a huge Salad bowl to make them the right way [thumbsup] [bacon]
Oh dear god, what have I started?! [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

The only thing carrots are good for is to wrap bacon around the carrot to make a carrot bacon mold ;D

Well actually, they are also good for plugging up the occasional water pipe, differential filler hole, crankcase breather vent, pcv hose etc etc. They actually work quite well for use as temporary plugs while working on this stuff! [thumbsup] [laugh]

Apparently they make better decoration than food.
You could say the same thing about cardboard. [cheeky]

The coins in a dirty tupperware lid in front of the carrot-koi stuck on skewers into styrofoam are a nice touch, yet I still rate this effort as a massive FAIL. [laugh]

That's all very impressive, but I still don't see any carrot cups. I suppose you could put some of those things into a decorative bacon cup, though...

I was going to say that a carrot is good when you're impersonating Bugs Bunny, but I suppose carrot-shaped bacon would fill that niche as well.
Carrots are OK when breaded and deep fried and then slathered in ranch dressing. But then the carrot is simply a vehicle for the grease, fat and salt--so once again--we're basically back at bacon. 6 degrees of separation--most foods can be broken down into the main components of bacon, 'cept some of them have sugars involved.

Hell, it's one of the four basic food groups! Beans, Bacon, Whiskey, & Lard! [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

The ER is a drag, and while your there, all the bacon will be eaten. [cheeky]

So what do you all think of my bacon smiley suggestion?

I think it was a good idea...

Well, that's why I'm the perfect person to do it. As long as nobody takes my carrots.
